- Today I install LED tail light and filler lights on my 2018 Harley Davidson Ultra Limited.
The install of these Custom Dynamics Pro Beam lights are super simple with great instructions. The quality of these lights are strong and they light up the bike which we need for our safety.

Got the filler light the first week I got mine but haven’t done the brake light yet. My youngest daughter just bought me a driver back rest for Father’s Day yesterday, I guess I did something right raising kids cause they still like me. I never had a drivers back rest but am excited as I will be going on an 1800 mile ride in August
Kids are everything right, you will live the backrest!
Now all you need is the ones that go on your bags. Does make a big difference . Really nice.

I just put mine on they are awesome. One thing you might want to check is you never pulled off the red film off the double sided 3M type on the lights them selves.

Harleys not the only manufacturer that cheap’s out on finishing the rear end off on their bikes. My 2018 Goldwing Tour required filler panels in the rear as well. Fortunately the aftermarket presents options and solutions. As for the lack of LED lighting on flagship models that’s inexcusable. I love the Road King but will remain patient on a purchase until the factory offers this exceptional motorcycle with LED’s standard and another improvement to the rear suspension. Everything else is perfect as I’ve test ridden all but the M8’s. Thanks for sharing.

Great job. I changed all my lights out to the smoke, as well as added the pro beam taillight and filler lights in smoke. And I’m about to order the pro beam rear fender tip pro beam this week. I want to be seen 😁. Also my add the flasher kit. Beautiful bike you have there sir.

You forgot to remove the Red 3M tape off the light, that is what the tube of adhesive promoter is for

I have the CD tail light, but did the ciro pencil bag lights. I'm thinking of just putting a regular filler panel for those gaps.

@@BoDean52 you can look at it this way.. If HD put them on before the sale, then we'd be stuck with what they chose, and we'd be paying the additional HD tax.

I noticed when you put the filler lights in you forgot to take the two way tape off the back so it really stick the red tape

You didn’t peel the 3m backing off the lights before you snapped them in.

Bro u forgot the plastic washers that go on the taillight the keep water from getting in the taillight housing got mine no water in even in hard rain
Thanks Paul and I was fortunate to not get water in but good catch. Since this video I bought a new bike and did same upgrade, got the washers in for sure. Ride safe
I might be wrong but doesn't that red background need to come off first for the 3m to stick have seen product I could be wrong

While they are certainly bright, I wish the bulb/lens pattern more closely matched the stock Harley tourpak lightbar.

Did you have to purchase any wiring harnesses or did they come with the lights?
Plug and play came with lights. Nothing else needed
Did you have issues with your turn signal indicators flashing quickly on your dash?
I just installed the probeam tail light and the HD keystone auxiliary lights. Everything functions fine but the dash indicators flash fast.
Did you make sure to run the flash process to sequence the lights, should be in instructions?
I wish they could design a new way how the seat comes off.

No. I have a softail they don’t make anything other than the led taillight . Leather bags what can you say I guess I’ll have to write custom dynamics about that.

Question... did you have to do any kind of sync with the flashers running on the bike for a couple of minutes?

Looks like you didn’t pull the red tape off of the back. You have to rub it very hard and then remove the tape and press them in.
You are so right on this video is pretty old but many people mentioned it and I was able to clean it up thank you. Of course since then I’ve changed bikes and put the same ones on my road glide. It was kind of funny how I reminded myself to take the tape off. Thanks and ride safe
Am I the only person who noticed that the "dummy-proof" install was not so dummy-proof? I mean he left the backing on the 3M tape but used the adhesive promotor product. Too funny
Nope you were not the only one that noticed and if I didn’t agree I was a dummy, I would give you crap for not being a little nicer about it 😂. Fortunately others noticed and I fixed it. Actually did the same install on my new bike and laughed at myself as I peeled off the tape. Thanks for watching and ride safe

On the brake light do they a strobe led pro beam brake light?
Hi Kevin, they do if you add a magic strobe to them. Funny you mentions as I just got one and will be making a video on it that will post a week from tomorrow. They are really cool and makes it so much safer

Just picked up a 2020 FLHTK and love the pro beam led fillers but like the strobe led brake light in smoked glass.
Sweet, great bike
The filler lights look bad not being round chrome at the top and it looks like that fender light doesn't have white lights at the top to illuminate the license plate. And, you should have run the wires for the filler lights between the fender and fender strut, not over the strut.
