I did a ramp test last night, same sort of story. Have been inconsistent over last 6 months and starting a more structured plan to increase power and endurance. Live in Dubai so the heat has been the main driver for not riding a lot.
Anyway my FTP was 214W 😆😆
Nice video. Bit of a different feel to it, live the armchair / gather round children for a story theme.
Thank you so much for your kind words. I’m glad you liked the video.
If you’re looking for a good structured plan, you should look into “L’Etape du Tour de France Training Plan”. It’s really good. 👍
Have a great day!
I’ll bet that without those manly mustaches you couldn’t do over 200W. Nice effort anyway, keep those videos coming, it’s nice to follow your progress.
🙂 thanks! It’s all in the mustache. 👍 🙂
Interesting concept. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you very much, my friend!
Bra jobbat!
Tack så mycket! 🙂👍
Nicely done
Thank you! 🙂👍
When you were cycling, were you changing gears at all, or did you leave it in 1 gear and let ERG mode takeover?
I dont know if I'm doing mine correctly becaue when I have it in ERG mode, and it asks me to sustain 150W (as an example), I can't hold a cadence of 81-90 and keep the Watts at 150. If I increase the cadence to 81 ish the Watts go too high. (And FYI I did calibrate my Smart Trainer before taking the test).
Any ideas if I'm doing something wrong?
Hello and thanks for watching the video. :)
I keep it in the same gear for the most part. If I really need some extra power towards the end I change down one or two gears for some higher cadence. But for the most part I stay in the same gear.
ERG mode should allow you to stay with the correct Watts no matter the cadence. But sometimes it takes a few seconds for the trainer to adjust when you change cadence or power output.
@Maydeus the Cyclist Thanks for getting back to me! I guess I'll go off of the FTP that it gave me and see how I get on. If I need to redo it, I will (reluctantly! Loool) :-D
@@outwithsibs8094 aim at doing the FTP test about once a month (depending on how much you work out of course) to keep good track of the changes in your fitness. I don’t know what your goals are, but for me “L'Etape du Tour Training Club” has worked really well to gain fitness. It’s a 28 part program that you can find under “Plans” in Zwift. There are so many other great plans to choose from.
Good luck. Happy zwifting!
👍👍👍😁
Gg!!! But, for how Many kgs?
86-ish
