Bjp came close to a majority in 2014 no small achievement considering it was very much a junior partner for all the time. Now it is the largest party in the state. As for the congress it is in steep decline with many leaders including Ashok Chavan and Milind Deora leaving the party. Also sharad pawar is now quite old

According to me BJP is in a better position then 2019, one of the main reason, opposition is very weak, 2019 opposition was stronger, only place BJP is doubtful of performing like last time is Maharashtra, that said 28 seats which BJP is contesting , 25 is sure, 30 seats In Maharastra for NDA is almost sure, opposition if it gets 18 seats they will consider it has success, if NDA wins 40, they will be happy.
Then we should not have election if you consider bjp will win. Why waste 1.2 trillion ₹. So just wait and watch.

The best thing to happen for Maharashtra was that the BJP got rid of Udhav Khan and his despicable, Pappu son. The naughty duo are disgrace to all of Maharashtra.
Uddhav Thackeray negated Bala Saheb's principles, ideology & legacy: Uddhav joined Congress party to grab undeserving CM's post (he didn't contest election but was catapulted as MLC) & fell into the trap laid by Sharad Pawar.
Seeing Uddhav's burning desire to become CM & his rookie son's urge to become Minister both NCP & Congress hijacked most of Ministerial posts leaving senior Shiv Sena leaders, who had struggled life-long, stranded without power & blushing their eyes. The son was given insignificant Tourism portfolio. Both father & son duo grabbed power at the cost of Shiv Sena's ideology & rights of hard-working grass root leaders. Shiv Sena naturally broke up.

If you watch this episode with a view to get a clear picture and a definitive answer, you will be highly disappointed. This is a Gol Gol narrative.
The flaw in Sahil's argument about voteshare that bjp voteshare cannot grow more than 30% is - it is in a fluid state , not static. Older generation had fixed and rigid prefernces. Younger generation is more skewed towards bjp. There is slow and steady structural shift towards bjp. It is the case in MH also. So , in 10 years time, 30 % voteshare of bjp would have grown to 33 to 35%. Add a modi premium of 5 to 7%. Plus Sginde sena is with nda , and a section of NCP. And minority population unlikely to vote for shivsena, and i wouldn't be surprised they vote nota or abstain. That takes way apprx 5 % voteshare of mva. And they have a concentrated population.
I think nda will have 35 to 40 seats in MH with 50 to 55% votes.
Let's assume In 3 phases BJP has lost nothing there is no discontent for it and retains its last time Vote share 37%
Add EC ghochi of 6%
Let's give them a gain of 2% in 2024

Oh, he _did_ mention it but also said that the MVA was able to get the time to tell people how they have done the right thing (2 and a half years), due to which Uddhav Thackeray has been able to generate enough sympathy for himself.

How much of lies will Sahil tell? He says Manohar Joshi was CM from 1995 to 1999. Then he says BJP had early elections. For his information there was election in 1999 because of Sonia Gandhi, Jayalalitha and Giridhar Gomango where Vajpayee lost by one vote.
