I am mother of new born baby of one month ...I am facing exactly what you said in this vedio ...I was depressed little but as u said I m keeping myself strong and facing this phase of motherhood and I keep myself doing the activities I like and trying to be strong mother and as u said until we make sure we are healthy we can do all the things that we like ...that was really helpful .. Thank you so much for clearly stating things what we face and how to overcome postpartum depression.

Many thanks to you, I was suffering frm PPD, my condition was very bad, bt I didn't knew about this even no one in my family knew about this, they were completely on another track, bt Luckily I found this video on right time . I told everyone abt this , took medical help,I was on medication for few days, and with the help of doctor, family support N self control, I came out of depression... So my I advice to everyone facing PPD is not to worry bt meet your doctor, talk, take medicine, u will also come out of it.

You are doing a great job dear.
We women really need to talk, listen to, be heard and share these experiences. It helps immensely, I feel sorry that women don't do all this openly without any hesitation. It is the greatest help that women can offer each other. I too started experiencing depression much before my delivery... and after delivery it got even worse. I knew it was all because of hormonal imbalance but did not know that it was a medical condition and so did not consider taking professional help. I had such horrible nightmares twice that I can't even share.I was terrified.
I read a lot of books on pregnancy and was well informed. But when depression hit me I was just not myself.
We are planning second baby and this time I am prepared better abd experienced😁.
And I really appreciate specialy your this video because I have'nt actually talked about my depression to anyone. But listening to you has definitely made me understand better all that had happened. Heartiest thanks Darling.
Stay happy, stay healthy, stay blessed 😇

One tip for everyone reading this: It is possible that those around you don't umderstand. Maybe your partner either isn't aware, or doesn't get it if he is insensitive, or has this condition too because he is too sensitive. Maybe Mansi ji here is blessed to have understanding elders as she mentions, but you most likely have a typical mother-in-law with (convenient) selective memory loss of her own young motherhood, or ignores your condition to ensure you enter the kitchen, or brainwashes your husband that you are ''abnormal'. Maybe your friends despite being educated are not aware of this either. In which case 1. SOMEONE you know has gone through this and is sensitive enough to listen to you. Reach out. 2. Shed the guilt. Even if you don't bond yet, you love your baby (and have created a beautiful ome!). 3. Regardless of everyone else... You are loved. You are special. You have the permissio to ONLY care for you and your baby right now. Not the kitchen, the boss at the other side ofnur maternity leave, the parasitic elders who can fend for themselves but don't. You even have the permission to stop being the perfect wife for now. Be happy, be you and love yourself....that is also the best gift for your baby

@@tejaskute6223So you mean PPD or the family stuff I mentioned? My wishes. I understand. Regarding the family stuff. If it is possible for you, physical space matters (shifting from your parents or inlaws to your own home with baby). Next mental space too. Imagining yourself and the other person in lovely while light... this establishes protection n boundaries. Thirdly.. I am learning too.. google assertive communication..Fourth n most imp.. know that somewhere (acc to spiriuality etc) your child chose you n came to u.He loves you plus You Are Responsible. Do what you need to listen to only you.
Regarding PPD Manisi ji covered so well.

What if you are at Inlaws place and they not ready to support your emotional and mental health saying you are not normal ( psychological issues) . I think as the new mother is awake whole night with the baby , she needs to sleep and take rest when the baby is sleeping .. But when baby sleeps in day time there is lot of other disturbances and loud noise due to which new mom is unable to sleep .. and this lack of sleep also results in irritability and mood swings... This I have experienced it personally... Nobody in the family is ready to accept this , infact says we are creating lot of drama to fight with others .. what can be done in this case because I have made my in-laws understand but they are not ready to understand .. but in try to forget all this seeing my baby's cute face .. again after some time the same thing ..

    • @bijialex1795
      @bijialex1795 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Same thing i experienced in my first pregnancy... Blaming for each small thing, no physical emotional or mental support .. That scar i had till my baby was 2 years old ... Somehow I could overcome that ... Again the same thing is happening ... One thing that you told i correct for this reason new mom's go to their mom's place because thay get all sort of physical , mental and emotional support from there ..

Thanks you so much mam for the information, I recently gave birth to twin babies and as you said I'm in the same phase Of PPD. Many times I feel like my life became upside down all the sudden. Till the delivery day I was the happiest person with twins and once after the delivery I was like the saddest person and not able to enjoy this new phase of Life. Still my PPD is continuing since it's just 2 weeks till today.

Most of my symptoms and anxiety have disappeared in course of time. I am almost out of it and feeling very much better. You will also be fine in a few weeks time. Our experience is so so similar .
when you talked about seeing ppl go made you cry i froze coz it happens to me all the time and also when my husband gets ready to go to office i just start crying. Im so scared of being alone with my super fussy baby ....he had left bottle since he was 2 months old, i didnt have enough breast milk . I tried everything but he never took any bottle......so he survived on little breastmilk. Round the clock i use to pump and make bottles after bottles but he never took it.
Thn he was fussy even with food till now he is 10 months old.
I prepare varieties but when feeding time comes i start gettibg scared of my own son.

I am not experiencing such thing, but i feel so lonely, demotivated, helpless, hopeless, wants to cry, want someone's help. I want to cry out loud for help. Want people to talk to me, help me.. even i consult a psychologist but she just needs money she didnt guide me even a single thing all she wants to convince me to join 5 more sessions. I was hurt but she didnt care about that. Anyways, then i myself figure out that it might be a postpartum depression cause i know the term, but its not that. Sometime i want to sleep and never wants to wake up again. Idk what it is. I gave birth to my happy and lovely son 2 months back.
