- Yes the old girl is getting a review, it's something. Of a love hate relationship with this bit of kit.
It's heavy it dosent like mildly rough water its unreliable it eats batteries the remote blew up and after being sent to Angling Technics to be fixed I got billed for what was the most expensive bit of black gaffer tape known to man, I've had it from about 2006 so it's been well tested and well yes it's helped me get onto fish and I've been happy with that part but it's not been plane sailing so to speak.
Anyways folks just a quick review if you like what you see then please consider subscribing to the channel I'm wanting over a thousand subs before this Xmas so I can do live broadcasts from the bank on my phone, let's bring live Pike fishing shenanigans to the Internet hahaha.

I grew up learning from the likes of Mick Brown's The practice and the passion and John Bailey the Predator becomes the prey.
I'm a bit of a fishing geek I enjoy reading books from old old ones to the more modern ones it's amazing how much our sports changed over the years.

@@DavidScobie see that little inland lake u fished there was sank boat on it lived beside there when I was young full off big bream but summer evening 6pm til dark only time yea get them mate 5lb +
@@tessjudgemusic sunken boats make great features for fish to anchor around.
I'll have to wait until next year for the Bream fishing again I'm now trying to catch Erne Pike.

I just sold my baitboat lol i wasnt using it enough they are very handy for piking dropping chum and big baits at distance those deeper bracket arms or wotever they are called work a treat very handy indeed its seems baitboats are like every other bit of tech nowadays they become outdated quite quickly my mates brother inlaw bought a new carplounge RT4 all singing and dancing its incredible the speed and range are phenomenal and it has the winch camera gps etc etc it cost several thousand pounds he carp fishes large lakes on the continent for carp 2 or 3 times a year so he was happy to pay that i personally think hes mental lol
My wife made it clear I would be dead if I bought a carplounge bait boat hahaha crazy money

The wife had a fire lit in the house and with my wife there's no such thing as a small fire the house was just a wee bit toasty warm.

Davie my mate is obsessed with using the bait boat it takes him about a bloody hour to get 3 rods out and fishing thats wasted time especially now when we have such short days.i do get the advantages of the boat but it's not needed all the time.anyway there's my bloody rant over😅 tight lines Davie and have you been working out 😎
The bait boat is a tool to get a specific job done I laugh at the guys who use them to drop a bait a few yards from the bank when the same result could be achieved with a underarm flick.
There's places I fish where I know I'm going to be fishing a feature at a longer range so then I have to bite the bullet and get the Baitboat out.
Suppose its like anything buddy you'll get folk who have a new toy and they want to play with it.
Baz mate I don't like the cold I don't think any of us do that's why I get good quality thermal clothes and boots to keep myself warm I'm a bit fan of my cups of tea and coffee I always have a hot drink on the go just to keep warm, when I wear waders to get out and cast baits they are neoprene ones I got in the states they are made for the guys who do the duck shooting so they are warm you can't walk any distance in them or you'll be sweating your nads off so I throw them on the barrow and pull them on if in need them. Bait boats are OK I've seen some of the newer modern ones they are a lot lighter than the microcat but with that comes spending a whole lot more money I'm kind of skint and I'm looking to buy a house so I'll be skint for the long term hahaha so I'll have to keep kicking my microcat along until it sinks.

Just put 2.4 board in mine 120 quid comes with handset receiver and board u can do yourself regards

I've had my money out of it that's for sure.
2 grand for a bait boat fuk that ,just get yourself a small inflatable boat with a electric motor and tow the baits yourself , i would try get them second hand also a fish finder and handheld gps off the the net ,and if u need to get rid of them sell them for the price u paid ,
second hand stuff don't lose value just my thoughts
