I really like these walk about videos with no voice over. It feels like I'm actually there. It also has an ASMR Quality about them. I have been watching them at night and I always nod off.
Guy Mats Same. I feel like so many people feel the need to put over very loud music or voice audio to explain everything. This is a nice change of pace.
As a Swedish person this video warms my heart. To see all the Swedish food that they offered made me constantly chuckle from joy & now I know where I should go if I'm craving some food from home during my time in Japan.
I disagree. IKEA in Athens lost it long ago. I don't eat meatballs anymore, just fresh salmon fillet which is difficult to ruin, isn't it.? I ordered it with rice once but never again - they were like tasteless plastic.
April 9th 2020....day 26 of staying at home because of covid 19. This walk around IKEA was so lovely, almost felt like i was with you guys. Thanks for a little bit normality in this crazy times😊 Lots of love from Germany 😘❤
You asked if we wanted an Ikea tour and you delivered!! It was only last week, I think. Pretty fast and very interesting. I live just outside of Montreal and the Ikea near me is virtually identical. I think they all are. Great lunch too! Thank you so much!
Being Swedish I was surprised to see the meatballs being served with edamame beans. That does not happen at IKEA in Sweden. Also - that rice paddle named "Egendomlig" is not available in Swedish IKEA stores unfortunately. Too bad, I kinda liked the design.
Do they serve Köttbullar with fries in Sweden? They did for a short time in Germany instead of mashed potatoes and I hated it. Glad they switched back.
@@kittichan Usually you can choose between mashed potatoes or boiled potates. But french fries is probably also available as an option. Kids probably like it.
Accidentally saw your videos and I love how you present them! So gladyou’re showing us the places and stuff, unlike other vloggers where you see their faces almost always and so annoying they show us when they eat the food 🙁 Please keep it up! 👍
So interesting seeing the small differences in what is otherwise a place that is so standardized across the globe! Edamame on the meatballs, curry (that black curry looked delicious!) and different drinks in the cafeteria, smaller and more Japanese-style room setups on display.
Very cool! I’m loving these shopping videos! Yes, yes, and yes to more of these types of visits! Hubby now wants to go to IKEA, when we visit Japan one day. ☺️ Thank you for sharing! ♥️
I used to go to the USA's first store, Plymouth Meeting PA.. I've been told it's replacement store on property on the other side of the highway is different. (Note, the store is in a different town)
Oh I'm so jelly! Plant based soft serve?!?! Maaaaan! Our iKea is 2hrs away and we definitely don't have plant based desserts! Seriously though, I love walking thru the kitchen stuff! Love dishware! Thanks for the tour!! ❤❤
i like the shopping videos especially when they are very long and there is no talking or music, just the natural sounds of the store. thank you for this.
AnS Episodes I am a picky water so is my husband. We didn't like the menu options. I do enjoy seeing how it looks but i wouldn't eat it. I wish I could eat different things 😭😭😭
Closest IKEA to me is a four hour drive to Memphis Tennessee so I don’t get there as often as I’d like. Their meatballs are delicious and the desserts are soooo good. I love the kitchen section. I have several kitchen things I got there really cheap that hold up well and look great too.
The best part for me was hearing the children laughing and squealing with delight at that age everything is an adventure, at my age and having grown up children and adult grandchildren but no great-grandkids I miss the sound of toddlers, the purest sound on earth the laugh of a child and children the world over are all the same, thank you for not editing them out
I love all of your video channels - TabiEats, Shinichi's World, etc. This particular channel might be my favorite though, because it's literally just videos of cool stuff. Like the shinkansen, IKEA, etc. Most of them don't seem to have a lot of talking or explanation outside of the captions, which is really nice when I want to just relax. Thank you for making videos like this!
I love Ikea so much, I remember when my brother was still living here in Florida before he move, we literally live in Ikea, we was there every day, that and the mall. We almost never leave Ikea empty handed, I always have to leave with something, be it book, cooking utensils or bookcase always something. It was so much fun and so affordable. I miss it.
I bought bookcases there, they survived 2 moves and a relocation in the same apartment, but my ex said they are nor worth keeping when he packed up my apartment, wish he would have looked up the replacement cost.
I just found your videos yesterday, you did the tour of First Cabin, which was a capsule hotel I was considering staying at for my Japan trip, in the deluxe style room you showed. I really like these video styles, how it feels like very helpful guides on how to move around and experience Japan!
I just recently moved because of UV, and bought nearly everything from ikea. All my furniture, kitchen stuff, boxes and such. My goal is to move to japan after I finish my studies, so im very happy that there are ikeas with low prices as well :D I will probably even buy the same forniture if they still sell them as I love the ones I have now.
wow this was interesting to watch! even though we have ikea in the states i feel like you have more food/bread options available. I would love you to show us what its like to shop at a Japanese shopping mall. They seem very overwhelming because they are so big. But maybe thats just because I've only ever seen them at a glance in vlogs
Whenever COVID-19 is under control or gone, I'm going to Japan just to go to Ikea! It's closer to me now. I miss the stores in California. Thanks for sharing your shopping trip! 💖🙏
Your IKEA looks a very similar layout to ours... the menu options in the cafeteria look really good... I’d love to have more international options here...
Why? Ikea is Swedish - so of course they are promoting the Swedish cooking. I am quite sure you can find "international options" elsewhere in your neighbourhood.
Was interesting to see how different Ikea is in Japan, I saw a lot of Japan-exclusive items. You have more food options than Poland has from what I can see!
i think all ikeas in the world are the same where the swedish names of the products are also shown, like here in hong kong, the tags show english, chinese and swedish names too.
Our local ikea does not have the bakery goods or the banana non dairy or even veggie dog. I like this video though!! It's really relaxing and nice to compare the difference between your ikea and those in the US and europe
I loved IKEA! By far I bought a mattress, a wheel chair and a book shelf, they are in affordable price and I love the styles it gives me Germany vibes !
I like your videos. I came across one a few days ago and subscribed immediately. I laughed in this video where Satoshi was sitting in the upholstered chair with the shopping bag on his lap. It looked as if he was trying to figure out how he was going to get the chair in the bag 😄 Thanks guys! Hello from Canada!
Thanks for showing us your local versions guys! Always wondered about it, very neat tours. One of my favorite activities I can still do is food shopping with my family :)...wow that lobster bisque looked great! Those daim ice cream cakes looked so yummy and Sakutto!!!

All I kept thinking was...I wish I was shopping with them...lol. The IKEA closest to me is over 100 miles away. We go 2 times a year. I love it! Thanks for taking us along on your shopping trip! Also...that cake made my mouth water...hahaha. Just lovely🌸

Ooooh, that almond dessert! 🤪 I hope you got the blue chair. I thought it was the prettiest. 💖 As for the non-dairy banana soft serve, "WANT!" 😁 Thank you for another fun-filled video!
Love hearing the little kid singing London Bridge in the restaurant. I always avoid going to IKEA on Saturdays here in the States. That when everyone brings their little kids.
I must admit the IKEA Store was quite similar to ours!! The store was cleaner and stack w/ some great products!! The restaurant inside seem charming and the food look affordable not to expensive!! Overall when I come to Japan I definitely think I could definitely do some 🛍 there!! Great Video Thanks 4 Sharing!! :)
I went to IKEA for my first year in college for a dresser that I never used and ended up destroying at the end of the year. I still love IKEA even if there stuff if challenging to put together.
9/2020 In Puerto Rico , Ikea is very small, Been like 3 times, No Food at least when I visited!! Love the videos you post, Just saw the Costco too!! Great experience,🥰🌹
So fun to see, this could be my local Ikea, without the Japanese though hahaha. I would go for the gray chair. most of my furniture is gray; it's so easy to accessorize.
The little girl is singing London bridge is falling down. Super sweet I love your videos. Looks like the IKEA out here in New York. Mine's the ice cream
It brings me joy that across our oceans and amidst vastly different cultures, all IKEAs have small children crying in the food court.

2:09 - scared me for a moment because there was no decimal for $94... LOL! It should be $.94 or $0.94.. XD
And the $566 curry meal too😂
Im glad I'm not the only one that uses the XD still
Yeah I saw 94 dollars and I thought there is no way he must have meant 94 cents lol 😆
I actually look at it twice just to see if it's really $94. lol
Ohhh, cuz in my mind I'm like $94, $94!, there is a drink for $94!

I love Ikea but it so dangerous for my wallet. I went home with a whole new kitchen a few years ago 😂
😂😂😂 a whole ❗ kitchen 😂😂😂
Wow. Best comment ever ❤️
Wow, can I rent a room from you?
Lol yeah you better come with a fixed lists
Relatable... even fixed list doesn't help at all 😂

I love Ikea. It’s definitely more than just a store. It’s a destination for sure. Thank you for taking us along ☺️👍🏻
Oh and yes, more shopping videos please.
It a store for the very rich not a place for everyone else.
IKEA sells bad quality and useless things and unhealthy food . And IKEA workers are bad payed

Two Main things in ikea:
1. The foods is always delicious wherever it is, its just like an restaurant.
2. Its so big that you’ll get lost eventually.
There's a reason for the 'Infinite IKEA' SCP... :-)
I disagree. IKEA in Athens lost it long ago. I don't eat meatballs anymore, just fresh salmon fillet which is difficult to ruin, isn't it.? I ordered it with rice once but never again - they were like tasteless plastic.
#2. Reply.. look at the map, there are less discussed shortcuts in the store.
Aight guess when I go to Japan I can just head to their IKEA if I want to experience abit of "home" hehe XD

not to different from the ikea in the states, especially the layout is virtually the same. Will you be showing us Muji?
Yes, do a Muji and Uniqlo video, Shinichi and Satoshi!
@Bobby Brady Oh, do shut up.
The food looks better there than the US. 🤣
I love these style videos. I'll definitely watch more shopping trips!

One vote for the blue arm chair! I love IKEA. So calming❤️
Almost had a heart attack at the US price, then Realized the decimal was missing...LOL!, thank you for sharing your videos and adding the US prices.
this may be late but for reference, one US dollar is 100 yen in japan.
