How did he win the first race cause that happens to me online I lose a race even tho I won and I don’t take off early What does “O/U”
"O/U" is the Time Slip you're at or away from the Bracket Dial In. If you set your Dial In at 8.900 secs, you must cross the finish line a little later or directly at the Dial In like between 8.900 and 8.999 where the "O/U" reads between "0.000" and "0.099", but between 8.900 and 8.950 where the O/U reads between "0.000" and "0.050" is best if you're competent.
The rule of the "O/U" where you are Dialing In is very crucial. Let's say if you wanted a Dial In at 8.900, but after crossing the finish line, you get 8.927. This means that your O/U would be as close to "0.027" because you must cross the finish line a little later in the race. However, in a different scenario, if your Dial In was 8.900 and you cross the finish line at 8.895, your O/U would be a negative (-) "0.005" because you did an action called BO (Break Out) which means you crossed the finish line early. BO also takes away your Package as well because it doesn't matter if you're the fastest at the race. You will lose unless your opponent also BOs, but the O/U that was the closest to "0.000" will be the winner if both racers BO'd. Just remember to get good at it via Test & Tune, but that's based on how you modify your own Bracket car.
Oh, and another thing: your Package also effects your victory as well. The overall Package is combining the O/U with the R/T (reaction time). You want to have the best reaction time while crossing the finish line on top of your Dial In as much as possible. If your R/T was "0.400" and your 1/4 mile (or any distance) was "8.945" in which your O/U (in your head/Test & Tune) was "0.045": R/T: 0.400; O/U: 0.045; 0.400 + 0.045 = 0.445.
The overall package is 0.445. However, if your opponent has less Package than you, you are more likely to lose especially if they didn't BO'd.
If you wanted to test your Bracket car, DO NOT do it towards a competitor. Do it in the Test & Tune and remember you must finish the race directly at 8.900 in your mind.
