Hi. So im gatting a reference off of a journal, it already has it and i just need to copy it, but im confused since it only has one author, but in the references it has two, and the titile of the journal did not match, or does any other detail, what should i do?
The only exception would be when the author is actually listed as “Anonymous” in the article. In that case, you’d actually just put “Anonymous” as the author name. But if the author isn’t acknowledged at all, just skip that part of the citation.

When the author name is missing, you just skip that part in the citation.

No. Otherwise it becomes a faulty reference. The reason you include the name is so that the reader can find the reference
