    Design and automation
Since the early years of powered flight, there has been much discussion about how design and automation influence pilot workload and flight safety.
The interaction between people and machines has generated ongoing and extensive research. This booklet considers the good, the bad and the ugly when it comes to aircraft design and automation. It stresses the importance of understanding the strengths and limitations of technology, and training which takes these into account.

5:40 whoever designed that menu had no clue what they were doing. Blue outlines with a sort of turquoise lettering leading to high wasted mental residuals and low focus on the actual options. Grey on black being used for some options making them hard to make out, especially under direct sunlight. The menu opts for a giant infodump rather than a series of organized submenus navigated to from a navigation menu making quick info editing, and or acquiring, information nigh impossible. It is quite possibly one of the worst designs I could come up with.
