NEW Video Lesson! Arabic Alphabet Made Easy - Dal and Dhal In this lesson, we'll show you how to write two letters in Arabic: Dal and Dhal, and we'll teach you a few words you can write with these letters. Subscribe to our TH-cam channel for more videos!
Just wait until the vowels َ ِ ُ ّ ْ come to words and FULLY change their meanings, as an example the word (جَد) meaning Grandfather is WAY different than the word (جِد) meaning seriousness. (Foreigners have left the chat...)
Do you know that salaami pizza is the same as pepperoni pizza?, it's just a common name in Middle-East or at least Jordan as far as I know. It came to my mind when she said salaam at the end.

Chlochlo i didn't understand your question but here i'll try explain :alef ,dal, dhal,ra,zayn, and waw connect differently : they have only two forms of connections :isolated (initial is the same as isolated ) and final (the medial is the same as final) and these letters don't connect to the left ; if the letter is located at the first position then it's written on its isolated form, the next letter is written on initial (the word is not finished yet) or the next letter is written on its final (the word) if the word is finished. when these letters are in the medial then they are written on its final form (do not connect to the left) and then the next letter is written on its initial (word not finishef yet) or isolated (last letter)
Chlochlo nun is a semi circle ن Facing up or the like English letter c turned on its side so that the opening on top. Dal is sharper and faces the left. A lot of people write dal like this > hope that helps
Dhal doesn't connect to the letter after it but nun does ذنب =dha-nab (if you focus you will be able to see the space between Dhal and the letter after it ) نبت = na-bat the initial form of nun is written alone so you can understand the shape of it .. but it has to be connected with a letter after it

why can't we use the final form of "aliph" while writing arabic for 'if' ("idha") ?
Because of ذ (th) letters,

it would be great if you make a video about how to write the vowels, trying to find them is really hard
There are no vowels in Arabic. That's why you can't find them.
Only short vowels are not written, long vowels like A W and Y are written (I know W and Y do not count as such vowels but they do the job as well)
this is a video about the short vowels

Could you please explain why in the last word all letters are isolated?
Alef and dhal are from the 6 letters that don't connect to the letter that comes after them .. so:
the first Alef : has no letter before it , and can't connect to the letter after it => isolated
medial Dhal : in general it can connect to the letter before but in this word the first Alef doesn't allow it , and it can't connect to the letter after it => isolated
the last Alef : in general it can connect to the letter before but in this word the Dhal doesn't allow it , and it has no letter after it => isloated .
The letter د not always the same ,at the end of the word, as the middle 1 ex. عماد
I love you ‘karon’
I have a question: Wouldn't it be جَد because the accent above the jim indicates that it makes a /ja/ sound. I learned this from Duolingo and so I don't know how accurate it is, but this is confusing me so much. Please help, and thank you.
Oh, I was right. It is explained in a future video.
One question. In lesson #6 you write grandfather with the FATHA. Which word is the correct? Your lessons are great. Thanks
Fatha means that the sound of JIM " ج " is JA short vowel not JAA
Learn
Fatha means " ج " JA
Kasra means " ج " JI
Damma means " ج " JU
And the use of these short vowels will change the meanings of the words
For example:
The word حر
If we put a fatha on letter ح
HaR the meaning will be:- Hot
If we put damma on the letter ح
HuR the meaning will be:-
