I am SO excited to share today's video! It is my personal "tiny treasures" collection! You will see lots of antique treasures, toys, and oddities! This has got to be my favorite collection and display! I am so thrilled to be able to share this with you all! I do hope you enjoy today's video!

I have a collection of tiny treasures. My granddaughter loves to sort through them. They make my heart happy❤

A wonderful collection! I have been collecting tiny treasures since I was 5 and I'm 62. They are currently packed away safe or I would share them. I'm in love with anything tiny!! They are my most worldly possesions.
I love it all, but especially the French half doll, the 1920's doll, and teeny tiny doll in the tiny bed! So unique!
Omg I ❤ the whole collection of antiques but, I have to say that the half doll pieces are absolutely beautiful and unique 🖤

Michael I absolutely have a love obsession for tiny treasures ❤ Last week I stopped at an old shop that recently reopened with a new owner, she bought the shop along with the items inside. I was thrilled to find many old tiny treasures under glass at the counter some of which were the old Cracker Jack prizes…the owner didn’t know what they were. I bought them along with some other tinies. She has bins full of tiny treasures that she wants to organize…good luck with that…I told her it would be better to fill up junk jars 🫙 with them. As it was close to closing time she told me come back another time & I could go thru the bins & pick out what I wanted so I plan to do that today😊

The tiny treasure display was not just interesting but fun to watch by the way you slowly reveal littles within compartments and drawers. As if a curious child came to visit and would love to see what tiny little treasures are hiding! The amazing dolls all have such great expressions to the pins, teddy bears, bunnies and all its glory. I too have lots of tiny treasures I adore!😊I would still keep the lovely tall vase on top with various heights like you have on the top shelf, looks great!

As others have indicated, that is indeed Tom Thumb and his wife. I have one similar of them with their first child and it is marked as such. It's found within a tiny tin type album I purchased at an estate sale. I'm guessing they were some type of souvenir card for collecting. My favorite thing in your collection was the tiny brass rat! He's fantastic!

Having miniatures is a fun collection, but you have taken these pieces to another level entirely. The cabinet is amazing but your display of these tiny treasures is an art form all its own. Michael, I love your tiny treasures, and thank you so much for sharing these. I was ooh-ing and ahh-ing over so much of it. I, too, collect the half dolls. I love ephemera of almost any kind, postcards (antique - before 1920), tintypes, daguerreotypes, antique/vintage jewelry, anything that is fleur-de-lis, anything Pierrot/Pierrette (and I have many small ones), old/antique keys, antique rosaries, wax seals, hatpins...when I find anything that fits more than one of those categories, it's a real thrill! Loved the dried roses that Richard gave you. He's a keeper!
My 3 favorites are the green and gold Art Nouveau vase, the German pot metal rabbit, and the bathing beauty. Beautiful, Michael! Thanks for sharing!
As a life long collector of old photographs (50+ years) I was very gratified to see your photo albums near the start of the video. The gem tintypes need not be only of the "instant ancestor" type; our forbears got up to some hijinks in these inexpensive photos. I recommend TWELVE FOR A QUARTER; THE AMERICAN GEM TINTYPE ALBUM by Janice G. Schimmelman as an entertaining guide. The Tom Thumb wedding cdv isn't as rare as you think but it would be tremendous FUN to FILL UP the album with other tintypes and cdvs on all sorts of unusual subjects. I personally collect male and female drag as well as same sex couples expressing affection and have filled up several albums with them. You will never feel more satisfied then after you've filled up an entire photo album with tiny treasures you've found far and wide. AMERICA AND THE TINTYPE by Steven Kasher is another fine book about the tintype in early America.
I always use vintage blocks for risers, I have a small set of Victorian also ❤love seeing it all thanks 😊

Michael, I thoroughly enjoyed seeing your tiny treasures collection. You have a beautiful collection 😍. I wondered if you have ever watched the British series, 'The Repair Shop'. I know you would love it. I've seen several seasons and they have different people that specialize in different aspects of what a damaged item needs to make it better. You would love to see the 2 ladies who lovingly fix the teddy bears.

This was wonderful! I think you should add a little filmed montage to your videos as an intro of your treasures or collections a la Masterpiece Theatre. You have such a great eye for arrangement, I love seeing everything you have collected and your enthusiasm for each piece. My favorite was the half doll, or maybe the teddy in pieces, or...hard to choose! Great video!!

What a beautiful collection. Love the tiny bears they are so cute. I collect many things myself. The small album is grand. I have a few tin types I know how special they are. I have been collecting uranium glass for past year. I get really excited when I find a piece. Also Children's books. I like the older goldens and older hard bounds. One of my favorite authors is Kate Douglas Wiggins. She's from way back mostly Victorian times. Well that just a bit of my likes. I like a lot of things. Antiques have always been a fave for me. My prize is my victrola. I love to crank it up every so often. Seems you and I have a real love for the old a beautiful things. Loved seeing your lovely things Michael .Thanks for showing us around. That was really interesting. I thought perhaps it was just me whose belongings were no more than 2" tall! Coming to my home is like going to Tom Thumb and Thumbelina's house. I even intentionally started buying larger items to balance things. I'm 75 and could miss a giraffe in the room but notice the flea on its back. And tiny things aren't cheap, either. It was the detail that attracted me. It's so fun to see what other people collect. Thank you for the commaraderie and a glimpse into your tiny treasure world. Delightful!

The photo that you were questioning as to whether they were real people or not is one of General Tom Thumb (Charles Stratton) and his wife's (Lavinia Warren) wedding portrait. He traveled with the PT Barnum show in the mid-1800s.
