I really enjoyed this 3 day festival, the recording showed what a master angler you are and producing a masterclass for us noobies absolutely brilliant and great commentary too. Well done Rikki on the win and what about that 300lb on the third day, now that's how you catch a lot of fish with out feeding a great deal. Brilliant Rikki. I am not a match angler and to watch a guy mugging like that was top notch. You made a comment about being like a kid and it made me think about how we would chase fish and try and tempt them to our hooks, but that mate was a really skilful approach. The work rate that must take and the the belief to stick at it and not change. Absolutely flabbergasted mate.

Great series of videos, well done. When I’m fishing and stuff goes wrong (lose fish, snap, catch a tree etc.) and I feel myself getting wound up I say to myself ‘be more ricky’, you have the most relaxed but effective fishing style.

Well done Rikki , its great to draw a flyer but you still got to catch them , tho , to use your phrase , i wont lie , i did jump to near the end of the video because although i not against mugging , it was a bit repetitive , could you tell me please , what elastic do you use for the mugging and edge fishing , thanks
Thanks Rich. i totally understand you skipping to later on in the video as i would of done the same but as you will understand thats the way i had to fish to maximise my weight on the day. I use Green vespe elastic which is 2.4mm

Aslong as the rules do not say (NO STANDING) then you are allowed to stand up.
