First time I have ever heard of a Seiko watch as garbage.
I started out refining 925 jewlery. I won't buy it for for more than .6 anymore because there is always so much junk in every lot. Or a toll of .15 of end result.
Karat gold is also about 5% less than it is marked as a rule unless marked plumb
so much of it is garbage now

modern "sterling silver" jewelry is a real problem now....a lot of it is melting at 60 - 80% silver...not real 92.5% unfortunately...mostly coming out of Asia

I gotta do some work down your way in the Fall and I am planning my work according to fishing trip availability and bureaucratic avoidance.
