Thank you for this review, we actually had it down for breakfast so i think we’ll stick with breakfast. This is why we love your reviews, you are not afraid to say no it wasn’t that good or it wasn’t what we expected, an honest review! In saying that Michelle makes us laugh with the faces she pulls when she doesn’t like something 😂Looking forward to the next one as usual ❤️
Dina we will definitely be waiting till it returns to a buffet service for both meals. We just try to be honest because trips are becoming more and more expensive. So glad you two travel along with us.

That’s why we are so thankful for taking us to so many different locations and at different times. That way we get to see what they offer for breakfast/lunch and dinner, the sizes and prices. You have helped us immensely! Thank you ❤️
nice review i havent been there either i just struggle with large in park dining with the heat and stuff but maybe when im a local and can just pop in to eat that will be the way to explore all the great food choices
The deserts looks delicious! I don’t think I’d like the meats they brought you guys but I would certainly give them a try. Now I’ve eaten the breakfast buffet here and it was outstanding! I highly recommend you guys giving it a try.

Donald was just adorable 🥰🦆 The poppadom with mango chutney was what it looked the most appetizing 😋 In Animal Kingdom we always end up eating at Satu’li’s Canteen or the amazing gluten free churros from Nomad lounge 😍 See you both in your next video! 🤗🤗

Interesting review, we've also never eaten there but wondered about it. I think it will be interesting to see the difference between this and when it is a buffet again. Like Michelle, I expected more like a Boma menu with different spices and sauces and unique items. I'm wondering if they did make it more mainstream items because it is a character meal thus catering to a less adventurous palette. Thanks for your honest opinions, I think we will leave this one on the "someday" shelf. I'm still holding out for the garden grill breakfast to return (that's my favorite character meal)
Heidi that possible be why it was so main stream. Hopefully when it returns to the buffet style and all its offerings. We almost forgot about Garden grill for character dining. 3 more to go before we can rank them. Hope you had a great weekend
I've had the dinner buffet a few times here, but it has been about eight years. The buffet definitely has more African-inspired flavors. I wasn't a fan of the offerings, and the deserts were limited, but the characters are why we went. They are so cute in their safari outfits! In the future, I will go back for breakfast.

Tusker House is one of our favorites! The buffet is much much better! We usually try to get the latest breakfast time and then we are there when the food switches to lunch. I love breakfast; my husband and daughter prefer the African cuisine at lunch. Hope everyone has a happy Sunday!😊
Laurie that’s what we were told by many of the cast members there. We will definitely be back once the buffet returns for breakfast and dinner. We use that trick at Crystal Palace lol. Hope your having a great day and the first day of spring. -Todd

Over here in the UK we always have popadoms with a curry meal. They are normally served in place of bread with an Indian meal along side some dips such as tomato & onion, mint yogurt and mango chutney. Not sure Tusker House is for us although we are at Animal kingdom on thanksgiving giving day so think we will try book Tiffins. Thank you another great review. 👍🏼👍🏼 xx
Honestly I would agree with Tiffins or Yak and Yeti. Those two are the best choices for animal kingdom. Are your pops dons always served fried or are they more like a naan bread?? Sue thanks for all of your comments and being part of our traveling family
@@TravelingAroundDisney Hi 👋 poppadoms are always served fried, very thin & crispy, just snap them apart with your fingers and scoop out some dip. Nan bread is also served with an Indian/curry meal as well, poppadoms are normally at the start with the dips and Nan bread with the meal. 👍🏼

Actually we have not done a Garden Grill experience but it is on the list. We like sitting at the tables on the second level and those haven’t reopened yet. We can’t wait to go back which hopefully be soon…

Toyman the food was not trash but just very generic. The character interaction is really what you come to these dining experiences anyway. Once they go back to buffet with there full offerings it will return to its former glory. We will dry e back once that returns. Hope you had a great weekend.

I’ve only had breakfast at tusker house, but from what I saw of the lunch menu I thought it was supposed to be similar to Bomas. I’m glad for your review because this doesn’t look near as good.

North Africa (cuisine at Boma/Sanaa) is a very small area of a HUGE continent. Tusker House has been serving AMAZING traditional spit-fire chicken (not North Africa) since it opened. It is the main feature wall in the restaurant. Either way, LOVE your channel!
Chris it was good but I think it not being the buffet it once was has hurt this location. We have heard nothing but great things about the breakfast and dinner service. The chicken was great and we can’t wait to go back once it returns back to its buffet style service. Thank you so much for being part of the traveling family and hope you have a great weekend.
The mac and cheese and pork looked good. Not sure it was worth the $$ but I feel like the options for table service at Animal Kingdom it kinda limited.
Jennifer we tank once it goes back to buffet it may be better for the food options but the character interaction was fantastic. Animal kingdom has always been lacking for dining. That’s why we have a Landry’s card so we can get into two restaurants there without making any dining reservations. Hope you had a great weekend.

When we ate breakfast at Tusker House in 1998, it was QSR style. It changed to table service for dinner I believe.
