Hi there, it should just click off, if it doesn't I suggest visiting your local mechanic or car dealer of your car to see if they can remove it for you.

Do you think it's a bad idea to use WD-40 on the belt 'housing'?

@@firstthingsfirst3014 We do not recommend you use any additives on the belt, if WD40 is needed then you could have more hidden damage and we recommend that the belt is looked at by a professional.
