@@thelightguy2 yeah, I know it's 1 at a time with this system. Would love to see a demo of the horn ring functions (Intersection, Sweep, Hands Free), if you ever find the time.
ive got a few questions I have the same head and I have a cable to run it for my computer would I have to just get the brain and cables to make it work?
Yeah, you’ll just need the brain and some of its cables, not all of them are necessary. You might need to attach your own cables for the power and ground for the brain because they don’t use connectors.
To connect the amp to the controller, just plug an ethernet cable into the port on the back of the controller. The other end goes in any one of the three serial ports on the amp.
1. You need to install the amplifier box in the trunk and wire it to a power source. Then you need to connect the control head, siren speaker, and lights to the amplifier box. 2. The siren comes programmed, you don't have to program it for it to work.
@@menghuihang I’m not exactly sure but all I know is that the SSP3000B has a diagnostics function, supports external signalmasters, and also has a different manual tone.
I really hate these new wail, yelp sounds. Where are the classic versions. Much better sounds are delivered by Code 3 Sirens like the one used by San Diego Fire Trucks. The sounds are super great 😊
I was so jazzed when this thing became available with the Unitrol tones. It was like having the Touchmaster and Smart Siren in one package.
Yeah, unfortunately you can't have both SSP Wail and Unitrol Wail in the same configuration. Same goes with yelp, priority, hi-lo, etc.

Unless you have the pathfinder siren in which case you can
Nice video. Congrats on your new toy FedSig SSP3000.

You're having way too much fun, let me try now😂
Hey im trying to change the tones on mine in my cruiser, can you do a video showing the programming of tones?

Oh ok so nothing would work just toplug it in it my pc? @@thelightguy2
@@thelightguy2 I so want that siren, bro.
What are you using to power it? Just got mine a couple days ago! Super stoked to put it in the new explorer.
I'm using a 110V AC to 12V DC power converter.
Where did you pick this up? Been looking for a SSP3000B for a while.
1992.
Do you have any tech tips?
Can you post a video on what cables you need cause i have it all and i plugged it in for power and i nothing turning on. Can you help
Check for ignition
Hey man, so i just got this unit but i can figure out how to connect the amp to the controller, can u do a wiring vid?
To connect the amp to the controller, just plug an ethernet cable into the port on the back of the controller. The other end goes in any one of the three serial ports on the amp.
Do you have to have the series b head controller to do these tone I have the main siren unit that is series b. But my head unit does not have the b.
I think it should be fine, as long as it's an SSP3000 control head. I'm not completely sure though.
1º: How to install the siren in the car?
2º You have to program the siren for it to work?

1st! I have the 1st series SS2000 in my car - with hilo and priority tone - what is price for platinum?
SmartSiren Platinums are around $400 with the amp, wires and controller.
The Hi-Lo tone aty 1:01 reminds me of the Hi-Lo from the SVP NYPD Mark 4 siren
Yeah, it’s very similar.
what's the difference between SSP3000A and SSP3000B?

I think my vic has this controller
That’s cool!
How do you switch to unitrol tones ?
I transferred a new configuration to it.
@@thelightguy2 thanks for the fast reply
It's in the programming software

San Diego fire trucks use the Federal Signal Touchmaster and Q2B.
NYPD: Get out of the way
Would you please stop honking the horn with every tone. We already know what the horn sounds like. It sounds exactly the same with any tone.
I was just trying to make the video more interesting.
No, it's his video.
