Nah, it was actually alright, they were moving around the stage, so everyone could see all members of the band, and also even relatively close to a stage it was not so crowded that you can't step any direction.
I’m with @dog5047. I was there and that’s actually my only complaint from the whole concert. The first 2 songs I only saw glimpses of James and Kirk. I didn’t see Lars at all basically for the first 5 songs. Maybe of the stage was a bit lower this could work. And whenever someone came even close to where I was people felt the compulsion to start filming so then there was a wall of cellphones in front of me. Other than that 10/10
@@jutjib297they still play old songs at headline shows. Why would they play insanely heavy metalcore tracks for a bunch of retired Metallica fans? The point of an opening act is to attempt to target a new demographic. It’s not selling out, it’s literally how the music industry has worked since the beginning of time…

I personally loved it, lot's of freedom to move around and didn't have to be shoulder to shoulder with everyone.
Yes, worked really well. You could leave the floor for snacks/drinks and get back relatively easy. Very good experience overall.

In The Round works a lot better indoors, but it's a way of maximising ticket revenue from the stands.
no moshing. no movement. no energy.
Maybe there is a reason they don't sell out stadiums? And if you weren't there, why even care.
Damn if this is similar to their setlist going forward think ill be giving their shows a miss sadly :(
Same thought, absolutely embarrassing.
The crowd is alive..?
Barely. So lame music that I literally almost fell asleep💀💀💀
@@duck9746 im sure that if they played songs from 2012 to 2016(especially from 2016) they wouldnt fall asleep
@@doctormomentos2514 yep,new album so bad
@@youmamaboom8249 we're beggars we're so fucking weak
Don't blame them tbh the setlist is ass
Thats alot of statues
Who thought this stage was a good idea?😂
They need more energy
the stage is not relevant at all. maybe if the circle a bit smaller would help.
Metallica has the worst stage setup ever. I wish they would just play an end stage setup like every other normal band.
He sounds terrible here
So boring setlist, only new songs. Clearly trying to catch some Metallica fans. :D
that's the point of an opening act.
Can't wait for you to realise what an opening act does
Bands should have their own identities and not sell out for masses.
@@jutjib297 but they can if they want to

that yell shout thing he does all the time now sounds like crap he wont win them any new fans doing that all the time at these shows
Hes not very on tune.
