Now you have your foot in the door at Tamiya I look forward to seeing your tour of Tamiya. Hope you mentioned that if Tamiya listen to modeller’s that you have the might of the global Gloo Trooper army behind you :) Take care and model on
CLEAR SKIES AND FAIR WINDS ON YOUR TRIP MAX.MAY YOU AND YOUR FAMILY OF GLUE TROOPERS HAVE A GREAT WEEK AND A VERY HAPPY THANKGIVING.GOD BLESS Y'ALL AND FAMLIES AND MODEL ON
I-16 was a great recommendation on your part, especially if they did it in 1/32. Kermit Weeks at Fantasy of Flight recently procured one that I believe is in flying status. It would be a great example for Tamiya to base a kit on.
Hi Max, Very interesting "Coffee with Max's Models" this morning. I would love to see a video of you visiting the Tamiya's factory in Japan, but what I also found very interesting if I heard that correctly, you indicating their factory in the Philippines (City of Cebu) is even larger than the factory in Japan. Plus don't forget about Tamiya's line of paint. In the vacuum left in the wake of Testors discontinuing large portions of their paint line, Tamiya is becoming my go to source for Acrylic paint. Yes, when I first found MAXSMODELS channel He had a hip replacement….. I WAS GLUED TO MAXSMODELS…. ( pardon the pun ) Got me back into BUILDING MODELS again…. Never have enjoyed building again like this… I’m having FUN AGAIN CHRIS 🇺🇸
It would be nice for Tamiya to produce them however, as we all know, AMT/MPC have provided versions of the Vega, Pinto, Chevette, Maverick, Pacer, Mustang II, and the small Datsun truck - I've built them all except the truck. Some of them are still being produced or have been recently released. Also, as you know, Tamiya, Hasegawa, Fujimi, Kyosho, and Aoshima have been producing original Japanese small cars for some time, particularly 70's and 80's Nissan's but I know I've seen Corollas, and Mazda's from that era as well (at least in their catalogues) under their various Japanese brand names. So would Tamiya make new moulds for vehicles that would try to fill a market based on history/nostalgia - maybe. After all, isn't building models all based somewhat on those two reasons? LOL
YEP, vacation slides……… TAMIYA never made a DAUNTLESS, TBD, TBF, F6F But, the market is saturated with those kits… Still like TAMIYA , been looking for the Figure kit of the AFRIKA CORP set Only found one from a vendor in JAPAN , outrageous price… Anyways, it’s 0530 hours OHIO time, starting my day, coffee is going… Lets see what happens today TAMIYA ON …….. CHRIS 🇺🇸 could I be first 🤔
@ Hey there Mister !!!!! TAMIYA made another kit, I think of five figures… Great action poses, even a kneeling rifleman…. I already have the other two….. Thanks for your reply!!!!! How’s Mrs. OT ??????
Wow, a nother expensive 1/32 X-15 that will only sell niche market. Wait, Tamiya only makes models of real-life stuff.😂😂😂😂 Toy cars and dinosaurs wow sound's like the brush off. 😊 Also Tamiya I would like ship kits from the 1905 war with Russia. Also some Japanese ww2 subs including a great I boat. Also early 1/35 japanese armor would be nice tankettes hmmmmm .
You live a charmed life my friend!
Thanks for the update. Have great flights looking forward to your return.
Thanks.
Very Interesting !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our buddy Max, rubbing shoulders with modeling royalty! 😮
It's interesting to be able to put a bug in the ear of a model company executive. 😎👍

Yes, Cebu is the larger facility.

@@chrispacer4231 Thanks Chris.
I think we all got an excellent ROI on that new hip, even Max.

Thank Max, I'd like to see a New line of 1/48 Thompson Trophy Races Winners of 30s. Think that'd be pretty cool
cool
I'd really like to see a 1/32 Curtiss F-11C-2 and P-6E. I'd also like to see a 1/32 FW-187 (both single and 2 seat version)
The nice thing for a manufacturer on the Curtiss kits would be that the wings, tail surfaces, and struts would be common to both kits😉
There are good models in 1:32 of the X-15 from Special Hobby, so I for one am not buying another one...
Was it good.
Perhaps they could make a different version.
@@maxsmodels DEfinitely worth getting. I believe there are 2 versions.
My two cents for car model 1977 Toyota Celica GT hatchback!

Nobody NOBODY wants models of vegas and other similar cars from the 70's
I want one...I want to see how long it takes to rust...😄
@@maxsmodels How about a Pinto. With a gas tank that holds lighter fluid and a spark maker.
I would like a 1972 Toyota Corolla.
