Excellent video. Specify that Matetic's coastal EQ is in the Rosario Valley, which is between Casablanca and Leyda (San Antonio Valley). This sector is a microclimate typical of the area where temperatures in winter reach -8 degrees Celsius. Yes, those mineral and saline notes are typical of coastal SB, what I call “beach shore.” Cheers!
I was watching famous chef in South America Giacomo Bocchio’s show episode named “Les presento casa Manifesto” and at the beginning of his show to his right he is displaying a copy of “Wine Folly” 😱😱 Madeline you’re awesome.
We did 2 days of wine tours in Chile last spring and absolutely fell in love with the country and wines. Camernere in particular but the B's were awesome too.
It's wonderful how a grape variety produces wines that are quite unique depending on the source. I find the New Zealand Sauv Blancs most pleasing to my palate. The acidity, crispness, and fruit make this the perfect companion to most. fish dishes. Of course, great wine is great wine, so I'll never be happy to drink your Loire Valley wines at any time. 🍷Thanks for the educational (and fun) videos.
What a great class, from start to finish! ❤ the graphics. Plenty to geek out on Madeline, well done!
Thanks for providing a great insight into Sav B wines from Chile 🇨🇱

Love your videos and passion for wine. I learn so much from you. Thanks Madeline!
The good a little bit high endish SB can age gracefully too. Thanks for this video!! Superb content as always
Yes, you're so right! thank you

OMG THAT'S THE COOLEST THING EVAR. Thanks for sharing! Very honored.
Fascinating that there are two different styles here. And decanting this white -- amazing, but makes sense. Agree that pairing with sushi works well.
I’ve tried so many of these I just really like the NZ ones that if I can’t find a Chilean one with similar flavors I don’t want to even try now.
My go to SB is from Bordeaux first.. but I am going to search out some SB from Chile now
Give it a taste! Let us know what you think!
@@Winefolly .. thanks for the heads up
Huh, interesting peachy Sav Blanc

The B's! okay best pet name ever for SB.
