most planetary mfg will produce from around 3:1 up too 7:1 normally for each planetary stage. there for this gearbox has many many options for the ratio being a 3 stage planetary gearbox. ideally you would use around 4:1 for each stage, matching the sizes of sun and planet gears gives the best strength but this can't always be done.
