I made this wonderful pattern and I keep my interchangeables needles in this one. My other circulars I have in a separate quilted bag with small separate plastic bags marked with the needle size in numerical order. All my straight needles are in two quilted rolled bags. I then made a very large bag to keep all my needles together. So convenient.
Wow, great tutorial! I just finished one, and I learned a lot. Excellent instructions. I only had to rip out one seam, but that was due to me not paying attention. A couple of tweaks I will do next time is to have a gusset at the bottom, 1/2 to 1 inch, then my 4" tips won't be hard to get out. Thanks for your time to do this video!
Excellent tutorial! You do a great job designing and explaining how to make this project. I’m definitely going to give this a try! These interchangeable needle holders are expensive & it’s difficult to find one I like. Yours is superior, imho.
This is ADORABLE but I think I’ll be adding a center pocket flap and a center needle page also (I have a 5” set a 3.5” set and a sock set🤷🏼♀️) and then a zipper around the outside. But let me say- THANK YOU SO MUCH for this pattern and for working this out! Love from MN❤️
Hi Thank you I don’t sew. But asked for a machine for Christmas. I was a bit worried trying this pattern. Got a bit mixed up but Woo Hoo! I made it and so proud of my attempt. Thanks again.Oh it took a whole day 😂
Hi Erica - GREAT video thank you very much. love tutorials to do with bags, tool rolls etc etc Keep up the good work. Oh by the way, loved you sewing room - I have moved my sewing room into a bigger room and have ordered the 5x5 unit you have from Ikea and have started putting my yardage onto cardboard as you have, what a great space saving idea. Thank you for all your inspiration and energy LOL. I am making so much stuff for the house I'm loving it. Thank you, Linda x
Thanks Erica this is perfect. I'm glad you used directional fabric as that always confuses me. I have the perfect fat qtrs for this project. I can't wait to make it.
No, the case is too short for regular DPNs, I have a few versions for those types of needles here: th-cam.com/video/T6VpFaadlCQ/w-d-xo.html and th-cam.com/video/FhRgf5A99iE/w-d-xo.html
Yes I’ve watched those videos as well, thank you. I didn’t realize that first one holds the long ones. I think I’ve made 90% of your well written videos….I’ll give them a try. I seem to have more of those needles than the ones with both ends pointed. I do use the circular ones, so this one should take care of them.
Wonderful! Couple of questions: The first time you anchored the ribbon to the start of the project, did you go through 2 layers of fabric, or just one? What is the fabric line-gorgeous- and what brand sewing machine- it's so quiet! Thank you, you're a fabulous teacher, many blessings!!
This is such a cute needle case! I will definitely be making one as my chiaogoo case has a broken zipper. Can you suggest another method of closure instead of a ribbon?
Hey, I think that the PDF instructions may be off a little when it comes to fabric size for the cord pockets, it says to cut pieces 12.5" giving you a finished 12" piece, but then that makes the pocket about a 1/2" away from the edge and needle minder. It looks like yours is a 1/2" shorter on each side making the piece cut at 11.5" and finished at 11".
@@erica_arndt No problem. Just wanted to ler you know! I made it work by making the needle minder smaller. I absolutely love it, thanks for the tutorial!
love your tutorials, but would be most helpful if you labeled the directions - where the cutting sizes are referenced wuth a, b, c, etc. which you referred to in video
Hi, you do have to create an account in my store to purchase. We don't store any payment information, just the order info. So if you ever lose your pattern we have record of it and can reset your download links :)
Hi Audrey, all of the measurements and supplies are listed below the video, just click 'show more' or the little drop down arrow if you're on a mobile device :)
I tried that. Most of your videos, that works. This one won’t. You’re great when doing your videos though…so great at explaining that it’s mostly easy to know measurements. Perhaps it’s my iPad…thank you for your fast reply!

That is one adorable case and great tutorial! Did you have the high winds yesterday? We got blasted down in Castle Rock, I25 still shut down!
YES! Super windy and blizzardy! I heard I-25 was closed, so is I-70. Crazy!
Awesome tutorials
Thank you for the great tutorial! :)
This is such a cute needle case! I will definitely be making one as my chiaogoo case has a broken zipper. Can you suggest another method of closure instead of a ribbon?
You could use a button and elastic, or you can make a "ribbon" from fabric as well.
Very helpful tnq luv u mam 🙂

Oh I'm sorry you are correct! Piece G should be 8" x 11" and finish at 10.5". Thanks for letting me know! I've updated the PDF :)

apologize for above comment - lol I had wrong pdf pulled up :-(
Hello, Erica. I would love to purchase this pattern, but don't want to sign up/register. Is it possible? Thank you.
Hi, you do have to create an account in my store to purchase. We don't store any payment information, just the order info. So if you ever lose your pattern we have record of it and can reset your download links :)
Does this pattern call for 3 strips of binding or 4? In your tutorial you are sewing together 4 strips. Your pattern says 3. I'm confused.
Love your tutorial but I cannot find PDF of this tutorial in the link.
Sorry about that, I fixed it, the link is now there!
Great 👍 thanks 🙏
I would love to do that case!! But… I don't see the pdf for the instructions (measurement), I think you forgot to put the link :)
Got it fixed thanks!
Thank you
My PDF link is missing also. It says PDF download: nothing is there
Sorry I forgot the link, it's up now! Thanks!! :)
Where is the PDF?
There is a link right below the video in the "show more" description box :)
Click on the title of the TH-cam video and it expands to show the directions
I need one 20 times the size for all my needles.....
TFS erica
👍👏👏👏👏😘💕💕💕💕
