      You didn't put ur shoes on before you kick, so all of your 5 toes got crushed and malformed because you kicked the ball without protection. Now you gonna cry due to intense amount of pain that caused in your sensitive nerve endings because you kicked the ball hard and the ball wanted to get his revenge for kicking him, the ball, multiple times violently. So you have become broke and sterile. Thanks for listening. Not your a.i. friend. Hit the like if you enjoyed the massive chaos that I've put into few words.

    Thats why I dont like the people crying about AI "stealing" their "intellectual property"....we are all on thousands of years of knowledge compiled and we all "copy" and are inspired by each other through time.
    To me there shouldn't be any intellectual property, controversial opinion I know

      Well it's generally the incentive to invent things. It only lasts a certain amount of time, it's reasonable that you have rights over other people using your invention if you have chosen to make it public.

      Copyright, IP, and Patents disincentivize invention and advancements. Saying it's an incentive is a myth perpetuated to privatize accumulated knowledge.

      @@Soundsaboutright42 Money is nothing more than an abstract representation of accumulated capital. If I write a story, come up with an algorithm, or create a machine or device to solve a problem, I've created capital. Money is simply an attempt to measure the perceived value of that capital. Technically, money could be considered capital in the proper context, assuming it was a commodity and not fiat.

      @MarceloSeravalli That’s an intriguing take! If we all build on what came before, can we really own ideas? What if everyone shared knowledge like a communal potluck? Would that spark more creativity or chaos?

  • @LucysSonarDreams

    how could anyone think any idea has not come from what was before, I mean were using language a tool invented for communication, and controlled by the culture that produces to the point where we think in said language, so in essences our words have never been our own, and our borrowed from our culture or the collective, because as much as we like to separate ourselves from the world and our cultures (at least in the west) we are not separate and everything is connected, and we stand on the shoulders of giants and the wealth of collective human knowledge, this is why original ideas are made from unoriginal parts, what makes an original idea an original idea is not that it is truly new, but that it is new way of putting collective knowledge together.

    The only issue we have as a collective of todays society is our collective is too large for our minds because we have not evolved to adapt. Tribes, clans multi family communities whatever you choose is where we thrive as a people. The state of modern mental health issues are proof of this, too much stress because it's a rat race that never ends. How vain of a life we live now!! We look back at big civilizations in the past and they vanished or did their life implode because they could not keep up. Here's the kicker, it would be impossible to change that now we are in for the long haul or short one if we vanish. This was a fun one!! Thanks👻🤪🌶🤘😎♾️

    the term computer was once a job title... modern computers were built by reverse engineering the physical processes we observe in the brain. Computers communicate with other computers, sharing dependencies and packets... because we modeled these artificial networked systems off of the networked system that is life.

    It's called abstraction. We can build or learn a complex system then hide away the unneeded details except for the rare cases we need to pull it out.
    I don't need to know how my car works unless I need to make a repair to it. I can learn how to repair my car. I only need access that knowledge when I need it. Knowing how to repair my car does not stop me from knowing how to repair a bicycle or play a piano. the fact that most people chose not to learn how repair their car or bikes, or play piano has nothing to do with limits of human knowledge.

Somehow I suspect that number is a gross undercount.

    And actually you're wrong. You can, and are, meant to store information; however, alot of people are very lazy today. Not to meantion, what you've talked about, the prior knowledge and exterior thinking with other's. The brain has a long-term memory system, but with over stimulation, lack of sleep, and even quick paced intrusive advertisments or videos, these things can depleat your attention-span, or over compile your memory systems, in general. That's why people who claim to meditate often have better memory, or unlock new brain regional attributes or strengthen already used attributes. Because people who do nothing, rather than something all day, they're not bombarded witg stress and constant stimulation, where the brain has no time to filter and take minor notes of the day. And people who do not watch TV have higher attention spans than people who do, about their daily activities. The brain is not made for action, it is made for taking your next actions, or to put to use prior learned, or picked-up knowledge, based on your prior experiences. Let's take a lion for example. You're taught to stay away from them because they're dangerous. The sigb of danger, this allows your brain to retain and remember to always stay away and fear lions. Where as if it was only made for action, and not long-term memory, we could be told that lion's are dangerous, and would not take our next steps carefully, due to prior memories of the lion being dangerous, not being retained by the brain for long-term retainment. Very different. One says your brain is just another muscle, waiting to move when the time says go. While, the other, explains that the brain is not only a muscle but an important feature for long term and short term memory and survival. Videos like these are lizard minded, in my opinion. Because they jump to the understanding that the brain is not built upon memory, yet the brain clearly has features showing that it is mainly for long-term memory retainment. It's today's modern livong that has dumbed us down, especially the introduction of electronics, and even cheaply sold drugs and stimulants, like caffeine and sugar. Those are known to mess with memory retainment when over-used or abused. Same as many other drugs and stims. Nicotine and weed, and certain forms of psychoactives, are also known to stunt memory.

      Just remember...a great deal of your long-term memories aren't factual. Episodic memories are invariably bastardized versions of what they were when they first came into being as a short term memory. Your brain lies to your own self many times everyday.

    The bike thing can be very easily summarized in a way that a 6 year old could understand it and I can build a house front to back without sweat. It's amazing what a gigabyte can pull off when it's not so Debbie downer and pessimistic.

    • @ArtificiallyAware
      @ArtificiallyAware 16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Oh man, @chriscook2479, you’ve got that DIY confidence, and I respect it! But let’s peel back the layers a bit - not to rain on the parade, but just to highlight how wild things get when we dive deeper. So, yeah, sure, you can build a house. I’m guessing you know your way around the hammer, nails, saw, maybe you’ve got plumbing down too. But here's the kicker: do you really know *everything* that goes into making that possible? Let’s take the concrete you pour for the foundation, for instance. Ever thought about the chemical process that makes that concrete harden? That’s some deep geochemistry right there. Or what about the wires you use to wire up the place? The copper in those wires? The mining, refining, and manufacturing processes that made it possible to deliver electricity to your front door?
      Now, I’m not saying you’ve gotta be an expert in metallurgy or industrial chemistry - and yeah, you’re absolutely right that you don’t *need* to know all that to build the house. But that’s the point *The Knowledge Illusion* is trying to make. We all rely on this insane depth of specialized knowledge just floating around in the background - stuff we’ll never personally know, but we depend on it. It’s a community of knowledge that makes the "gigabyte brain" capable of pulling off huge feats, like building a house. These are just examples, of course, but they show how even something as hands-on as construction depends on a chain of knowledge way bigger than what one person can carry in their own head. The magic happens when you step back and realize how connected all that expertise really is.
      And hey, this isn’t to say you can’t build your house, front to back, without breaking a sweat. I’m sure you’ve got those skills down. But think of it like this - you’re the final actor in a massive, global play that’s been running for centuries. That’s the real genius behind human progress. It’s not about pessimism, man. It’s about realizing just how much bigger the game really is!

    • @chriscook2479
      @chriscook2479 16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      "@ArtificiallyAware, well said! I completely agree with your point, but I’d add that there's so much complexity within us that we aren’t even consciously aware of. Think about all the things our bodies handle without our direct involvement-like heartbeat, breathing, hormone regulation. We possess a wealth of inherent knowledge that’s always at work behind the scenes. While this knowledge may not be at the forefront of our day-to-day thoughts. Its still nevertheless knowledge that we’re capable of utilizing.
      That said, compared to the complexity of the universe and everything within it, our knowledge is still a drop in the ocean. We don't fully understand a single thing, really. There are always deeper principles that remain elusive. But what's fascinating is how much we do know, especially in terms of building on the knowledge and progress of others.
      Being 'intelligent' today often means taking what others have discovered, understanding it, and using that as a foundation to grow. The ability to absorb, synthesize, and expand upon existing knowledge is what allows us to tackle bigger, more complex challenges. It's like standing on the shoulders of giants-where we can go depends on how well we build on what’s already been done."
