Has anyone just stopped for a second to realize what's actually going on here? A stock + - 1000 HP car that might do 8s and warranty under $100k. Is this the Matrix?
I hope they've addressed the many quality issues that have been many on the Challenger SRT 392 and hellcat. Been MOPAR most of my life and still would be if they just fixed my lemon after the 10th svc call, but they didnt and 22 svc calls in 24 months. I've read that nothing has changed up to the 2019 model year with unreliable issues many friends and I had. An absolutely beautiful car, it looks as mean and nasty as they come, it still bothers me alot how wrong and fucked up Dodge treated me and MANY OTHERS. I'd like to get another but for now I've got a ZL1 Camaro with a few doodads to get it up to 730+hp, best of all... It works!! No problems.
Dodge is out here trying to kill everything. Who else has so many different high horsepower trims in different vehicles like them? Plus I also heard rumors of a hellcat engine being put in the ram. They are definitely going for the throat in this hp war.

Honestly Dodge has never been reliable with multiple cost cuts and just recently emissions cheating I find Dodge to be the most dishonorable major automotive business
ya I think it's going to be a 9.19 second quarter mile or else the srt guy with Jay lenos wouldn't have even mentioned attempting 8 seconds because that's quite a long ways from 8 and also de tuning the helephant engine 79 hp is a lot for an engine that was designed to come in a factory vehicle because dodge would never get their money's worth of research out of crate engines alone. Also they said during the launch of the crate engine that the helephant engine was designed with weight savings in mind which goes with what driveway demons has been saying about a lighter car. I just wish they would also use the supercharger body too because that would make it completely different than all the other chargers and other cars on the road as I find the current chargers while one of the best looking cars still looks a little too bloated and lacks the simple refined style of the 1968 charger and the supercharger, but maybe that's what they meant when the license plate said old. It would be beneficial for them because they could also sell it at a premium as a special limited edition tribute like Porsche does. With the loss of viper this could be their new flagship model too!!!What do you guys think?

While dodge had heavy cars with more power. Pretty much perform very similar on the strip though. Big engines pushing good power. The way American cars have been for a long time.
European cars are much better they first off are not flimsy, they are made of quality materials, faster, sound way fucking better than any loud silly American car and can win against many American cars in drags cuz of their great engineering and technology( launch control)
Lol no one talks about cars like the Porsche 911 Turbo S. That does 0-60 in 2.7 seconds, and car and driver got their 2015 to rip Off a 10.5 second 1/4 mile. Yet European cars suck? You can get into one of those for 80-90k and destroy a Demon on the street, no stock Hellcat not even the Redeye will do 10.5 1/4’s stock. Plus, the 911 Turbo S would absolutely destroy any of those cars around turns. Fact is European cars like Porsche’s are just better. Not saying the Dodges don’t have a place, but they ain’t the pinnacle of performance - sorry. Oh let’s not forget the GTR - which is not European but, would destroy any Hellcat/Demon/Redeye around corners, and on the street from light to light or even 1/8 mile. Maticalise Music Master as it should be. I wouldn’t say I only stick to one brand of vehicle. I loves mustangs, got a 92, I love the charger, challenger, and ram trucks. The 5.7 hemi and 5.0 are amazing and reliable engines. On the GM side, I love the 5.3 and their ls motors, they’re extremely robust too, but I only really like the corvette. The camaro is meh to me. To me it needs to find an identity. It’s just kinda there

Nah. That's what the chally is for. Why not have the sedan with the power of the redeye? Or the 3 row Durango with the redeye engine in it with the demon engine? Do you know how revolutionary and record breaking how that would be? Plus with the hefty weight of the Durango, the redeye engine would be absolutely perfect for the truck. It could prolly tow up to 11,500 lbs, and have 8/12 mpg with 808 hp and 705 tq. 0-60 2.4 sec. Top speed, 199 mph! I'm just speculating, but that should be fairly accurate
My brother-in-law works at the newly built ram plant in michigan,he also worked at the old one that they moved him from he said they were getting ready to start production on a new ram with a hellcat engine starting next month i believe
It’s perfectly ok to like more than one make. I’ve owned modded corvettes and mopars. I had a heads cam c6 and a scat pack challenger as a daily driver. Dodge makes some of the most bonkers vehicles for car nuts like the scatpack1320, hellcat, red eye, demon, srt Durango and track hawk. To be a fan of only one make and hate on all others is super weak.thats not a real car enthusiast, it’s just a fanboy or fangirl.😀

Hawaii Scatpack392 haha me too. I still have the plum crazy purple scat challenger I ordered in 2015. As great as the 6th gen Camaro and the new mustang are, they are a bit on the smaller side for folks over 6ft tall. I needed the huge trunk of the challenger because I do all the shopping for my family and I also have a wheelchair (paraplegic from a work accident) that the trunk can easily fit when I have a passengers.

Red, mine is less than that per month. My insurance will go up by $50-$75 more a month. I didn’t get the widebody option to keep it in my budget. I can get drag radials if I go to the track.

Has any one stopped and realized what the fuck FCA is doing. They are slitting necks in every division, from 2DR to sedan to SUV to 3 row seaters, the TR & TRX for the Trucks then even winning the torque wars with 1000ft-lbs in the HDs...I think they know in the next few years EV power is going to be enforced and they wanna go out with the record books with them.
Dodge has basically stuck with the muscle car strategy which was abandoned years ago by Ford and Chevy as they outgrew that role and moved into true sports cars. No way a Dodge can hang with a ZL1 or a new GT500 around something like the Nurburgring. To Dodge’s credit they don’t try, they just stick with straight line performance and they are good at that niche. Smart.
Its very smart. Nobody should care about the nurburgring. Its not even in this country and less than 1% of car owners will track their car. Everyone who buys a car drag races. I have seen more mustangs and mclarens at the drag strip then road courses.
Driveway Demons replace Nurburgring with Willow Springs or Laguna Seca. I’m pretty sure those are in the US. Discounting cars that you can take up through the twistys of Highway 1 along the California coast (like I do frequently) seems pretty silly. There is also a windy canyon road running between where I work and where I live. It’s like stress decompression. There are allot of great roads here in California and I’m willing to bet all over the country. A Mustang or Camaro (I’ve owned both) has plenty of grunt for fun but still handle the twistys just fine. Personally I don’t street race, I don’t think it’s very smart as fast as cars are today. Your asking for allot of trouble, legally and safety wise. I have a bunch of friends who track their cars at Infineon Raceway here in the north bay. I have one friend who focuses on the quarter mile (he runs Mopar). Point is, Dodge isn’t better then Ford or Chevy and they aren’t better then Dodge. Just different. If you want a car with muscle car like power that can handle as good as a Porsche, go with a Camaro or Mustang. If you want a car that is bigger, more spacious, and heavier and doesn’t do well in the handling department but can be very competitive in the 1/4 mile. Dodge is your option.

There are four options here. 1. After their new car happened to run 9.37,they traveled back in time and changed the name of the plastic brick company to LEGO so that it would match their drag time. 2, They really could have done better than 9.37 but they nerfed it to that exact number for the sake of an easter egg in a commercial. 3. Their design runs exactly 9.37 so they struck up a branding deal with lego just so they could stick an easter egg in a commercial. 4. By huge coincidence it happens to run 9.37 after they already had a lego deal so the lego logo just happened to become an easter egg.

Hay I got to see the hellephant at SEMA last year with my dad and he asked one of the head engineers if the hellephant would fit in his truck (2015 ram 1500) and the engineer said yes the did it a few times. After that my dad asked if the drive train was different to which the engineer said no it was stock.
This is why I love the 3 main American car groups I mean you got Dodge constantly pumping out a new high HP challenger first the hellcat, then the widebody hellcat, the demon, the red-eye the 717hp hellcat and they put out the ACR Viper in 2016 which was stupid quick and the SRT Durango, and the Track hawk (yes I know that's a Jeep) and now they want to mass produce the RAM trx and the new 2020 Ram 3500 with 1,000ft lbs of torque that can pull 35,100lbs and you got Chevy with the ZR1 and Zl1 1LE both impressive cars and now Ford with they're Shelby GT500 I mean it's just awesome to see these 3 automakers constantly pushing each other to each other's limits and producing amazing cars what a time it is to be a car enthusiast not gonna lie though I've always been a big Dodge guy and right now they're definitely not letting me down right now

I just don't see the Cuda coming out while the Challenger is still out. Wouldn't make sense to have two 2-door coupes unless the Cuda is going to be there track car. But all of us know whatever it is Dodge isn't going to let no mustang or Camaro beat it

Jd Fine I could care less if you believe or not. The video here clearly shows the info. I have not changed anything. I have done 3 videos on this “Angel” and I have been saying the same exact thing. Also I called the 426 coming back in April 2018, also replacing 392, and the widebody charger. All are happening. I’m not going to give names and get people in trouble.
Finally a car that can offer 720s some competition ---well on paper it can,but as we found out with the Demon what it does on paper and on the track are 2 different things.

Has any one stopped and realized what the fuck FCA is doing. They are slitting necks in every division, from 2DR to sedan to SUV to 3 row seaters, the TR & TRX for the Trucks then even winning the torque wars with 1000ft-lbs in the HDs...I think they know in the next few years EV power is going to be enforced and they wanna go out with the record books with them.

Dodge has basically stuck with the muscle car strategy which was abandoned years ago by Ford and Chevy as they outgrew that role and moved into true sports cars. No way a Dodge can hang with a ZL1 or a new GT500 around something like the Nurburgring. To Dodge’s credit they don’t try, they just stick with straight line performance and they are good at that niche. Smart.
Its very smart. Nobody should care about the nurburgring. Its not even in this country and less than 1% of car owners will track their car. Everyone who buys a car drag races. I have seen more mustangs and mclarens at the drag strip then road courses.
Driveway Demons replace Nurburgring with Willow Springs or Laguna Seca. I’m pretty sure those are in the US. Discounting cars that you can take up through the twistys of Highway 1 along the California coast (like I do frequently) seems pretty silly. There is also a windy canyon road running between where I work and where I live. It’s like stress decompression. There are allot of great roads here in California and I’m willing to bet all over the country. A Mustang or Camaro (I’ve owned both) has plenty of grunt for fun but still handle the twistys just fine. Personally I don’t street race, I don’t think it’s very smart as fast as cars are today. Your asking for allot of trouble, legally and safety wise.
I have a bunch of friends who track their cars at Infineon Raceway here in the north bay. I have one friend who focuses on the quarter mile (he runs Mopar).
Point is, Dodge isn’t better then Ford or Chevy and they aren’t better then Dodge. Just different. If you want a car with muscle car like power that can handle as good as a Porsche, go with a Camaro or Mustang. If you want a car that is bigger, more spacious, and heavier and doesn’t do well in the handling department but can be very competitive in the 1/4 mile. Dodge is your option.

2, They really could have done better than 9.37 but they nerfed it to that exact number for the sake of an easter egg in a commercial.
3. Their design runs exactly 9.37 so they struck up a branding deal with lego just so they could stick an easter egg in a commercial.
4. By huge coincidence it happens to run 9.37 after they already had a lego deal so the lego logo just happened to become an easter egg.

Hay I got to see the hellephant at SEMA last year with my dad and he asked one of the head engineers if the hellephant would fit in his truck (2015 ram 1500) and the engineer said yes the did it a few times. After that my dad asked if the drive train was different to which the engineer said no it was stock.

This is why I love the 3 main American car groups I mean you got Dodge constantly pumping out a new high HP challenger first the hellcat, then the widebody hellcat, the demon, the red-eye the 717hp hellcat and they put out the ACR Viper in 2016 which was stupid quick and the SRT Durango, and the Track hawk (yes I know that's a Jeep) and now they want to mass produce the RAM trx and the new 2020 Ram 3500 with 1,000ft lbs of torque that can pull 35,100lbs and you got Chevy with the ZR1 and Zl1 1LE both impressive cars and now Ford with they're Shelby GT500 I mean it's just awesome to see these 3 automakers constantly pushing each other to each other's limits and producing amazing cars what a time it is to be a car enthusiast not gonna lie though I've always been a big Dodge guy and right now they're definitely not letting me down right now
