cagliostro is finally here, and i compiled all english cagliostro’s intro’s with the current cast!
Which is your favorite interaction from cagliostro with the others?!
As someone who has been playing Granblue Fantasy / Granblue Fantasy versus / fighting games for a long time now, i figured i'd step up and try as much as i can of cagliostro!
cagliostros is quite interesting as is, so breaking down cagliostro in all the ways i could was a very interesting to do!
Character movesets, looks, intro’s and outrosand toolkits are a big make or break in nearly all situations, so there is no time to slack for a game like granblue fantasy. Luckily they went all out with the gbf/gbvs cagliostro!

Background about GBVS for those who might not know:
Granblue Fantasy Versus is an upcoming 2.5D fighting game developed by Arc System Works for the PlayStation 4 and Steam PC. It is based on the role-playing game Granblue Fantasy, and is released in Japan by Cygames in February 2020, and was released in North America by Xseed Games in March. It will also has an English dub!

Knew it the moment I heard the serious voice.

She’s also Nonon Jakuzure in Kill la Kill, and Peacock in Skullgirls (another really cool fighting game)!

Was expecting them to mess up Cagliostro's two tone voice. Glad I was wrong. They did ossan Cag well.
So far they've been hitting it off with the dub voices of the characters, they all match so well. I play the game in English cause it's nice lol. Characters like this they always gotta hit it off perfectly, her and Tira from the Soul series are just alike 😂

For the react with Gran at 6:20, I think it's better if it in Japanese because Lyria's reaction doesn't match with what she said in English. In Japanese she sound natural.
Overall i prefer the Japanese dub to be honest. But i must say, Cagliostro was done really well!

The English version is honestly okay. But obviously the masculine tone was kind of lost in English dub, which I think kind of is the only bad part of the dub. However, I kind of blame this due to the original game's devs not being too involved with the game's dub lol.
Yeah I feel the voices are in two different realms here while the Japanese voice sounds the same but more masculine.

It is a bit more complex then that, but i guess the simple way to explain it would be that she has 2 personalities that she loves to pull out at times!

Cheesy, dopey, poorly-acted, doesn't fit the character, sounds nothing like the Japanese... Yep, sounds like the typical "English anime girl stock voice actress" sort of acting... Cagliostro deserves better. I wish they wouldn't use these generic sounding English voice actresses all of the time. They need to shake things up and find people who can really bring a character to life in a way that feels authentic... not this Saturday morning cartoon sort of nonsense.
Honestly this just sounds like “English bad” and that’s kinda weak like don’t get me wrong there are weaker dubs in this game I’d say belials is very weird but cag ain’t one of them
@@LeemVonNelly No, there are some good English dubs. The English voice for Collette in Tales of Symphonia was great, for instance.
