Can anyone explain what happened at 0:30? How did they crit twice when the crit was on cooldown? Edit: looking at the rest of the video, it seems like the Mortal Strike crit is bugged for ranged heroes. It goes on visual cooldown when fired, but isn't actually on cooldown, or something. Not sure of the specifics.
When the cd just reached 0 techies animation fired a 2nd shot which procs the crit dmg. Thats why any crit skill works so well with unleash becausr ur doing 6 attacks in a second thus proc multiple crits.
Whether the next attack will be a crit is checked at the start of the projectile. Crit's cd begins at the end of the projectile. So, if you can attack multiple times during one projectile period, all of them will crit with wk's skill. Of course this only works for ranged heroes and passives that are not luck based (for example, ck crit is independent of other hits = no advantage). The requirements for this build are 1. ranged hero with ultra long attack range = techies, drow, silencer + take aim 2. wk crit (the best), dawn crit (okay) 3. omega high damage = techies lvl 25 talent (252 dmg) + grow (150 dmg) 4. ultra high attack speed = 2 moon shards 5. no witch blade = shorter projectile period hurts you If any of the conditions is not met, then you won't see such an effective build. So, the player knew exactly what he was doing. In short, this is an abuse of a game mechanic that is irrelevant in normal Dota 2 (Dawn and WK are melee heroes = no projectile period).

This is a well-known abuse in AD community but Techies executes it well except maybe ignoring the tomb.
