I haven’t been there in sometime. The last time I went there was a wedding in the garden. Christmas is quite beautiful. There’s a Christmas Tree Lane drive through. If you go a bit south, Winterthur has amazing gardens, Point to Point is around Mother’s Day. The home has 3 tours. I’ve only done 1. I really should go back. They have China that was George Washington in the WH and pewter from Paul Revere. Also in the area is Hagley Museum. It has beautiful gardens, the original office for the DuPont Co and the Powder Mills on the Brandywine. Then across the Brandywine is the Nemours Estate, beautiful chateau with gardens and tour. Then if you want something different, there’s the Cape May Lewis Ferry. You can go as a foot passenger for the day or weekend. A bus will take you into Lewes. A beautiful small historic town and restaurants. Or you can take your car on the ferry. I’ve only done the foot passenger from Lewes and walked around Cape May.
