Thanks for the insight. I enjoy how you always get us to think and dig in even more than we have to better understand the Word. God bless!

"Neither do i condemn you..." happened before the woman repented. That speaks volumes.

You don't actually read the woman "ever" repenting even *after* Jesus said, "neither do I condemn you."

@JesseMgala Exactly. But there is an argument out there that she was the woman who wiped His feet with her tears. So I was just covering that base as well.

Hi pastor, do you think that matthew 24 - referring to the parable of the fig tree… do you think the generation that saw israel become a nation a will not pass away? Or maybe we interpreted it wrong somehow?

Heard an aspect of this passage. Christ bending down to write on dirt was signifying to these men that He is the author of the Torah and knows the heart of it.

To say the John adulterous woman passages shouldn’t be in or taught or not is moot.
Who’s to say the manuscript the NASB and others that include it wasn’t or isn’t genuine ?

      Romans 13:4a
"For he is a minister of God to thee for good." - KJV
"For it is a minister of God to you for good."
So the question is, "is what the gov't doing for our good.?"

EITHER BELIEVE THE BIBLE AS GOD'S WORD OR DONT !! If you question one verse or a part then you SHOULD question the WHOLE Bible and believe none of it

Herein lies the problem, we are trying to look at , and rationalize our faith ( based in an ancient culture) through modern American eyes. Unfortunately our perception is wrong.

I think our perception is wrong when we try to apply Israel's doctrine for their last days, their 70th week, to the Body of Christ Church during this Dispensation of Grace for the Gentiles. Israel's last days doctrine hasn't been a valid doctrine since Paul was given the Dispensation of Grace.

Not hard to fit in on what Yeshua might have said, this could be similar to Matthew 7:1-5 .

Since no one actually has the absolute original text, no English translation can be considered inerrant or infallible. My opinion is that sola scriptura alone will lead to “death” every time, while scripture read and studied with the Holy Spirit, will lead to “life” every time.
The “bible clearly says”, at the very best, simply means; this is what “I” believe the bible says or means. To suggest otherwise is cognitive dissonance.

Jesus came to save the world not to condemn it. So it’s understandable to me that he didn’t condemn her. He offers us forgiveness of sins so thats the gospel right? The story doesn’t change that truth even if we dont know historically where it originated from.

Serious question: If it's in which Bible? The Catholic Bible includes the apocryphal books; the Ethiopian canon includes Enoch. Should these additional writings be included therefore as well?
