- In this video we re-gear the differentials in an awesome Imported 1994 JDM Toyota Hiace 4x4 that only has 9k Km on it! This thing is so cool! We took out the original 5.13 and installed Nitro 4.10 gears for better highway driving! This thing will do 100 kph (72 mph) now at 3,000 RPM! Prior to the Re-Gear it maxed out at 45 mph, the owner is gonna be thrilled that he can now use it on some long distance off highway adventures! The right gear ratio is very important and in this video we show you why!

I have an ‘88 with 13k miles. With a 5spd and 5.13 gears it will do 65mpg. There is a buzzer that goes off at 110km.
seriously?! What was the MPG originally?

quirkiest 4X4 dream car, UAZ 459/Hunter.....but good luck getting one out of Russia now.
I have a Toyota Hiace that I would like to re-gear as well
We can do it! Shoot us an email!
I have a rhd estima with the 3ct diesel. I have the same problem with speed. Where are you guys located?
Dover, Pennsylvania!
Hi sir!i have this crew cab in our garage,i want it to run but i dont know the right sizes of alternator-fan-crankshaft pulley belt and also the crankshaft-power steering pump belt.hope you can help me with this!thank you!
Use a piece of rope to wrap around the pulleys and measure that. Measure the width of the pulley groove. Take the measurements to NAPA
I have the same truck. I am looking at getting this done also. Any suggestions? What was the cost of this Regear
We don’t like to share prices publicly for the customers sake, if you would like an estimate email us with what you’re looking for and what you have and we’ll get you setup!

Any idea what the towing capacity is?
Hmmm... I'd have been tempted to "regear" with 33" tires, or 35's if they'd fit.
Anything is possible!
I have 1988 Solid Axles swapped, on 35's 4/10 gears and it is terrible on hills on the hiway, once in 4 low it is a beast.
@@highaceoffroad2887 Sounds like a great rig. I'm sure the 5:56s they swap out here, would make it even better!
My 92 Yota was pretty good all around with factory 4:60s & 31s. Right now, it's down for A LOT of up grade and proactive replacement work. Among those is 4:88s in preparation for 33s. The math says it should be just as drivable. I guess we'll see.
@@highaceoffroad2887 That sounds awesome! Besides the hills and highway!
@@MountZionOffroad have a look at my profile pic. I will be posting alot more videos up as the year gets warmer. New video going up today! There are some vids of me wheeling it ten years ago, on TH-cam. Since then I have done alot of work on it and this season I am going to make every fancy now that I know it all works.
What does regearing one of those cost, approximately?
There are a lot of parts and labor required beyond a normal re-gear as you can see in the video. Current cost is around $4000
I own a 1992 same vehicle. Can I add a locker to it?
yes
I like how you didnt specify which master kit it needs.
We would be happy to email you a parts list, just shoot us a message or give us a call mountzionoffroad.com/contact
Is it ifs in the front?
Yes!
@@MountZionOffroad do you think it can be left hand Drive converted? I know These have been sold lhd but I believe only 2wd
@@Brandon0083 I feel as if it would be more work to do that than it is worth!
