Baldwin Organ model 632 - Full Tour

One of the most riveting videos of the decade, a stop by stop tour of my Baldwin organ as well as a tutorial on how to abuse the ticker tape text feature in Final Cut Pro. Filmed with my iPhone 7+, audio from my Zoom H4 placed a few feet back from the external speaker cabinet. I kept the organ at the same volume throughout the video.

I have the exact same organ at home - bought it new in 1986 (or 1985, can't remember for sure). I've had it overhauled once, and a few small repairs here and there. It still works great.

I think this recording could have used just a touch of reverb. Did the 632 have any internal tonal finishing adjustments?

It's got some built in reverb but I don't think it's adjustable. As far as voicing goes, I haven't been able to make any adjustments to the internal speaker output, but I've been able to make some changes with the external speaker cabinet which has adjustable volume for each channel. I really wish it had a 1/4" output so I could plug in headphones or an external reverb unit.

@@Dansorganmusic If it is a spring reverb, which is usually wired on both the in and out with RCA connectors. You may be able to disconnect the spring reverb and attach an Alesis NANO Reverb unit. You may need to pad down the input and outputs to prevent distortion.

It has an output for external speakers in the form of a series of screws that you wrap the wire around as opposed to a traditional output jack like you would find on a Hammond
