Hey Stu, interesting to see the video from your perspective. The only time I noticed lag during a race was the first Big Rouvy Race several months ago. I have only gotten that internet connection lost message once or twice for a few seconds in the six months I’ve been on Rouvy. I always download events with 1000+ riders now and that definitely helps. On my end I have noticed that you are consistently the only person I see frozen many times during races. Probably nothing you can do and I’m sure it’s frustrating but you’re a bad ass even with the slow connection.
@@matthewjudge6583 thanks. Tbh it has only been this past week where I have had a problem. I had streamed a few times this week but of course the stream would die when the connection was lost, so I decided on recording things today so that people can at least see why it is a good idea to download routes beforehand. It is a bigger problem on the flat routes though as the long hill climbs have very little drafting anyway.
