- This is a variation of the computer from my series I am working on right now. When I get it working well. I plan on remaking each part as a series.

This is amazing work! I designed a working computer with Digital Logic Sim myself some time ago. Thought it would be fun to build a computer just from AND and NOT gates. At this time, you could not edit previously created components in Digital Logic Sim, so it was an absolute nightmare - had to test each component very thoroughly before proceeding with the next. However, I loved DLS for the ease of use and focus on main principles. But in the end, it worked and calculated prime numbers with a small machine program. Will have to check out the new version of DLS.
Thank you for the compliment. I haven't done a machine that checks prime numbers myself. I'll have to try doing that.
I started about a year ago now. Hopefully I can keep learning and getting better at building computers and coding.
Fun fact: u can make a computer with redstone dust and redstone torch u only needed a texture pack that makes torches glow square and big
I've seen a few videos on TH-cam about redstone computers. I don't really play Minecraft myself.
I have made a few circuits and a couple of clocks in the game No Man's Sky.

If you’re gonna do things like this it would probably be better to do in logisim evolution instead of dsl as logisim is more fleshed out

I Might try something like that in the future, but probably not with this cpu. I would have to design a new one that could be built easily with 7400 series logic chips.

In the future I plan on getting a microphone and learning more about video editing. But I don't have a ton of free time to work on this hobby so it will take a while.

How did you make your workspace so large to fit all of your components in the simulation?
I am using a modded version of DLS that someone else made. But I've had some people in my comments saying that it was malware. I don't know if it is or not. But to be safe I am no longer sharing the mod.

@@ItsCOMMANDer_ I didn't know this program had malware. I've deleted all links I had shared and will no longer be sharing that link or any others. I don't have the skills to check a program for malware properly so I'm just not going to take the risk in the future.

I am using Digital Logic Sim by sebastian Lague. The version in this video is a modded version someone gave to me. I can't share the modded version anymore because some people have claimed it has malware in it. I'm sorry.

I am not able to create a digital display using 7 Segment Display. I shows like a chip in my working interface. How can I create it? Which version do you use?
And I'm not sure what you mean in the first part of your comment.
@@ajax123z Thank you for your response. What I meant is that I aim to design an 8-digit display for a calculator utilizing the 7-segment display. Once saved as a chip and imported into the project, it appears as a standard chip without displaying the numbers.
@@ajax123z Unfortunately i am using Linux operating system (Ubuntu). I do not have windows and cant run this version.
@EmranMehrwarz-ej5nw are you talking about getting the number to appear outside the chips you put them in cuz that's a version of the program that only sebastian lague has. He never released it. I have never had that version.
@EmranMehrwarz-ej5nw that version is only modded so that you can zoom in and out. And I don't think that there is a Linux version. I didn't mod it so I'm not sure.
