  • Due to the global nursing shortages, Canada, particularly the Province of Nova Scotia, is taking action to address the issue by expediting the registration process for internationally educated nurses (IEN) from seven different countries, starting on May 1st.

    Nyamouch, do I have to apply via an agency? By agency I mean companies that charge you for the whole Visa process, finding you a job etc?
    They can be quite expensive.

      The website doesn’t specify, but the more experience, the better as you can always negotiate for a higher pay band.

    Applied got my conditional license fron Nova Scotia College Of Nursing Aug 2023 in Nigeria ,, Suddenly they are silent and nothing was done been applying for Jobs in Nova Scotia still no response..Pls what is the situation right now with respect to Expedited Nurses application in Nova Scotia?thanks

    hey i recommend not moving to north america because we have no work life balance.
    im in my 30s and ive never gotten more than 3 weeks paid vacation at any job including hospital, railway, union jobs, etc.
    america is worse than canada btw.
    i recommend europe.

      UK definitely beats North America when it come to paid vacation. It’s amazing how much time off they allow 🙈
