- A nice improvement to my 26:13. That's what you get when you don't have to restart Special Stage 7 two times and avoid unnecessary time travels. Still improvable.

The goal in Sonic: All Time Stones is to beat the game as fast as possible as Sonic. You also have to collect all 7 Time Stones from the Special Stages.
Timing is to be done with RTA (real time) minus TB (the time bonuses) from each level and special stage starting from selecting your character and ending when the screen fades to white after Metallic Madness 3.

Just got the CD soundtrack for this game at 3:27p.m. 11/1/2022 and it's the Sonic The Hedgehog CD 20th Anniversary Edition CD and I'm listening to it while watching this! 5:12p.m. 11/1/2022

There are currently no tutorials for this category so the best you can do is watching what other runners do in this category and then just try to imitate that.

You have to release your peel out and hold right before the piston launches you up.
Watch this video again and frame advance to the point where Sonic gets launched up in the air so you know the timing.
Another tool to assist you with this is the pause button. Pause the game right before the launch, unpause and hold right.
