- In this video we followed Ryan on his adventure to the New Talent competition that was held in Exmouth during the Bonsai by the Beach Event.
We had a great weekend in Exmouth the night life was awesome and the food was lovely!!
There were 5 Great artists taking part in the compertition line up and obviously we were Ryan Fanboys.
While the competition unfolds we take a look at the clubs show trees on show, before we find out who the winning artist is.
Which was your favourite tree? A, B, C, D or E. They all did a bang up job.
Cool accents. Really great looking trees and landscapes with them.

Some nice looking Suiseki stones. on display. Looks like a jade with flowers and a groundcover. Now that is cool and something completely different.
Devon Bonsai near Exeter is worth a visit on your return home.

Thanks Scott, nice to see the show! A great job with the camera showing us all the trees. Hoot'n bonsai did a fantastic job with his tree and they all turned out good!

Ryan's tree defintely the best for me and it will recover quicker as he left more foliage on it. Also, I really want to have a go at one of these comps one day!

Very much my issue too Xavier - thats why i held the poll anonymously before the video was released. They all did a good job though fantastic work by all
Great video Scott some nice tree's there , regarding the competition i would say Ryan's or D my 2 favourites . I thought b was poor just shows how opinion is different i suppose some agreed some didn't. Well done Ryan buddy👍
It really does show the differenceof everyone in the hobby and how we see things different, it was a great day none the less and an experience for Ryan.

I honestly thought Ryan’s was by far the nicest tree
I was of that ilk also, but there was some great work done by all the finalists - i wouldnt want to be a Judge!!
It would help if you showed a shot of each tree's label. I realise sound commentary is a problem.
