Its a very good movie dont know why some people underrate this movie , rajendra kumar and meena kumari did very matured performance. Only songs are weaker only 1 or 2 songs are good. This movie is much much better than pyaar ka sagar of same combination although in that movie songs are good. Hence this movie commercially did better than pyaar ka sagar

Below average movie of jubilee star and Meena Kumari. the story line was very weak. the screenplay was also not good. acting of Jayant was good in the negative main villain role. Rajendra Kumar and Meena Kumari also did well. the main drawback of the story was that it was full of coincidences. in the movie when Meena Kumari was caught with prostitutes and brought to police station, our Hero Rajendra Kumar was posted there, who has just met her day before. when Meena Kumari vanished suddenly Rajendra Kumar went to another state on holiday and searching her and he has found her at the very first place. the movie story line was full of illogical incidents. Rajendra Kumar does not suit in the role of police inspector at all. he looked like a foolish person always never like a cop. the songs and music ok only, one song 'Na Jaane Kahan tum the' was melodious and good. the camera work was also ok. The Comedy track of agha and Kumari naaz was also ok as Rasiya and rasili. Pratima Devi as a mother of Rajendra Kumar in a short role did well. Gajra Bai role played by Mumtaz Begum and she did perform well in a very short cameo role. This film can be seen for the performance of Jayant otherwise the movie has nothing to say something from the director point of view. overall an old family drama with old weakest story line, no good screenplay and nothing special as expected from the duo rajender Kumar and Meena Kumari movies .
