The Award Equips for Life!

Last week we were honoured to be invited by our Award centre Kamwala South Secondary School to be part of their school prize giving ceremony.
We had the honour of presenting the prize for the overall best learner for the grade 11 class Moses. Most exciting for us is that Moses is also currently pursing his Bronze level of the Award and his mum was super proud of both his academic achievement and his DofE involvement!
Our research at The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award shows that through engaging in voluntary service, taking part in physical recreation, discovering personal interests and talents, and learning about leadership through adventurous activity, young people become confident, responsible, reflective, innovative and engaged learners.😎
