I actually found the scene with Clarke and Mark touching. Clarke shows some real insight and character growth here, acknowledging what a bad father he was back in the day, and showing that he has grown since, after he became a part of CJ's life.
Brooke is lying. You and Taylor were Never friends. You ruined Taylor's Marriage. She told you over and Over to leave her husband and family alone. You said you weren't going to do that. You just wanted to be there because Ridge is there and you hanging on to him acting like your concerned.
They may as well have made this the last episode of the soap. Losing Taylor just so Brooke could become Ridge’s second hand, worn out soulmate was a BRIDGE too far. I was sad when Caroline died and pissed when they killed off Taylor. Bell rang in the new era of Brooke and B&B was never the same. The victor rewrites history to fit his narrative but we know the truth. After Caroline, Ridge’s greatest love was Taylor.
Brooke you were already thrown out. So don't make it like you're leaving on your own. Even Ridge should have known not to have her there. If he had any respect for his wife that past away
The speed in which they moved on after Taylor's death was sort of disrespectful. Guilding Light's storyline surrounding Maureen's death was probably the best way to handle a major character's death and its impact on characters.
They made Taylor die in order to reunite Brooke and Ridge, only to bring Nick to mess up with them again. And when Taylor comes back from the beyond sleeps with everybody like Brooke. What an interesting story
Now that Taylor’s gone, I’m here to chronicle and celebrate the greatest love story in the history of soaps: Brad Bell and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang)! May they be together forever! ❤🙌
Things really moved forward quickly in the show in those days. Mark being a new character that we have seen like 4- 5 times and he is already confronting his father. If it had been now, it would have taken him like months to go and seek up Clarke, a looooong build up
The writers did an excellent job of setting the stage for Taylor's fall from grace when she returns. Interestingly enough, every word of praise that has ever been said about Taylor will come back to haunt her. Ridge will use them against her, plus add some of his own in the infamous confession scene about James Warwick.
Brooke says it herself, when Taylor comes back: “You were more competition to me when you were in the grave.” I re-watched that scene a few months back and realized that was probably a huge reason Brad brought her back. 1 reason was probably for ratings, but he probably felt he needed to bring her back to destroy the idea of the Tridge pairing, because Bridge simply could not grown in its shadow. I feel that while these mistakes were detrimental to the show and unforgivable. There was a moment in the show’s history about 10-14 years ago when both Hunter Tylo and Ronn Moss exited the show (unceremoniously), where they could’ve made a small gesture to try and repair some of the damage, and that would have been to write out Taylor and Ridge together. Finally repair them and have them exit the show together. Heck! I would’ve taken it happening off screen. Susan Flannery had just been killed off, Taylor disappeared after having an argument with Eric and then Ridge stormed out on Brooke after she received a text from Deacon. I’d have preferred it if they had just said Ridge had gone back to Taylor and then we just never saw them again.

Know since Thomas heard his Grandfather Jack talks about how she ruin their marriage that's going to make him dislike Brooke he not going to have no respect for her at all
Ridge even kissed that dummy. In 2005 Omar will be bragging that "LA is the land of illusion" and how a professional from the (film) business had made a replica that then fooled everyone from Ridge's family.
The Clarke/Mark reunion is very oddly handled. Surely Mark would have an angrier reaction after coming face-to-face with the father that abandoned him? The whole interaction was strangely passive and flat. This could have been a huge story for Clarke. But given how underwhelming these scenes are, we can already tell that's it not going to go anywhere.
@tiroyaonejustinphologolo9763 I do. The entire Clarke/Mark/CJ storyline is poorly written or even non-existent. Although it did start the whole Bell trend of developing storylines where a father gains two new sons who are in love with the same woman. We essentially see this same storyline play out again with Ridge/Nick/Massimo and Bill/Liam/Wyatt.
I agree. I also didn’t like that Mark was the one who sought out Clarke and gave him his phone number so they could get to know each other. Clarke should be reaching out to Mark, not the other way around. No son or daughter should have to ask their parent to be a part of their life. Up until now Clarke was acting like CJ was his only son. Smh
The writer wanted a minor character to get rid of Brooke and not the Forresters. So he weakened the scene l, and Brooke past deed against Taylor, as if it is only Taylor father's whim.
I get Jack's feelings but I disagree with his way of handling things. He should have met with his son-in-law and should have discussed the funeral proceedings. Then Jack could have told Ridge that he doesn't want Brooke at the funeral - and maybe Ridge would have respected his father-in-law's wishes and would have asked Brooke to stay away. Making a scene at the funeral in front of family and friends is not much different than Brooke's insensibilities. Taylor for months has been the mediator (reason why TRIDGE went to Brooke and Whip's engagement and wedding party). According to the psychologist's words, Taylor even has asked her friend, the grief counselor, to be there for Brooke too.
Reach Forrester needs to step in. I realize that Taylor Hayes Forrester was his wife but Brooke was his first baby mama and she also was engaged to him first I have to Caroline course. Caroline is ridges first love. Brooke is a second and Taylor is his third.😮
Steffy's and Phoebe's singing is sweet but also quite off-key and cringe. It's a reminder of why we need an actual singer (Macy) back on this show. Bobbie Wakes would have nailed "Somewhere out There".
Brooke Forrester is really sorry for Taylor Forrester‘s death and she’s not happy about this. Stephanie always put it in peoples head that she is the enemy and she wants Reid and she’s trying to pursue him once all his women that he loves dies Brooke Forrester. is going to get him through this, just like she did when Taylor
Eric is completely useless, worthless and meaningless as always. His character is empty and shallow. His character, like also Brooke, not needed at all since day one of the show.

Nice to see The show got Chris Robertson to come back as Taylors dad I know the actor is Really disliked by many In the soap opera community. !!
I wanted to asked the same. Why?.
He is a pretty good actor. Better than most actors at b&b that are torchering the audience since decades with they bad acting since years.
@@andream5998I just hear he can be a really difficult actor.
10:15 Isn't it eerie how Eric's daughter looks exactly like the old skool Eileen Davidson here? Ironically, her character on DOOL was also named Kristen.
I just realized Tony doesn't have his goatee here. Still looking handsome though
Friends 😂
I’m no shrink but I don’t think having a little child right next to her mother’s corpse is a good idea
I know this comment will not be accepted well but the truth is that when the twins began singing I cringed because they sounded like the munchkins. 😳😮
Know since Thomas heard his Grandfather Jack talks about how she ruin their marriage that's going to make him dislike Brooke he not going to have no respect for her at all
He shouldn’t have respect for her. No one should
Why should he?
wHY DOESNT rUDGE NOT KNOW IT IS A DUMMY
Ridge even kissed that dummy. In 2005 Omar will be bragging that "LA is the land of illusion" and how a professional from the (film) business had made a replica that then fooled everyone from Ridge's family.
Because this time she is really dead. The writer changed his mind later. No mannequin, no coma, no Omar
Steffy and Phoebe ruined a great song just like their father ruined (but in a funnier way) the great italian one "io che amo solo te"
IKR! Remember Annie's post about Mark being so poorly written?
If they only knew that this was not the end of Taylor thanks to prince Omar Rashid her ex
How many years is she missing Taylor?
Was Hunter Tylo in that casket?
Yes. When soaps do that it means the character is really dead and not coming back ever (but they still brought her back.)
I don’t buy it that Clark never did anything about Mark, it’s out of character
17:06 The Shining
Reach Forrester needs to step in. I realize that Taylor Hayes Forrester was his wife but Brooke was his first baby mama and she also was engaged to him first I have to Caroline course. Caroline is ridges first love. Brooke is a second and Taylor is his third.😮
You can't even write their names right, yet you expect someone to take you seriously? Is this a bot account? Or a child? 😂
Girl yo u r cat was walking on the keyboard again.
“Brooke was his first baby mama” yea and we all saw how happy he was about that. Btw Brooke was actually his 3rd choice. Ridge and Brooke admitted it.
@@lil_jon411his first baby mama, which turned out to be false.
Steffy's and Phoebe's singing is sweet but also quite off-key and cringe. It's a reminder of why we need an actual singer (Macy) back on this show. Bobbie Wakes would have nailed "Somewhere out There".
You know, it could have been _Amber_ serenading Taylor's body...
@annieo6527 oh yes, it could always be worse😂

Brooke Forrester is really sorry for Taylor Forrester‘s death and she’s not happy about this. Stephanie always put it in peoples head that she is the enemy and she wants Reid and she’s trying to pursue him once all his women that he loves dies Brooke Forrester. is going to get him through this, just like she did when Taylor

So long Taylor!!!
What a boring episode. Taylor looked good in the coffin.
Eric is completely useless, worthless and meaningless as always. His character is empty and shallow. His character, like also Brooke, not needed at all since day one of the show.
Ouch 🤕
