  • Track day enthusiasts live for moments like this...when you come across another car close in performance but more importantly very well driven! This 2015 GT3 was running the new Hoosier R7s and some kind of awesome sounding aftermarket exhaust. I was running the Pirelli World Challenge slick. The designer side of my brain resisted passing him for a few laps as I was literally enjoying looking at the lines on this latest generation of "911". It was the kind of track session where the two drivers seek each other out in the pits and high fives are exchanged. Was an absolute pleasure running with the Northern Ohio Porsche Club today!

    The striking orchestra of the video is so empowering leading to the final overtake.

    Gotta admit, I love how the Viper sounds like it's hardly having to work when making short runs from corner to corner!

    Nice Job Ralph! You continue to make us proud, not just on the track but in the boardroom also.

    Fantastic! I just bought a 15 white GT, inspired by STORM :) Ralph thank you for pushing this platform despite the obstacles you faced, and congratulations on the mega promotion. Good to have a car guy at the top!

    Defiantly the best track car base

      Is there any difference between the GTS and the TA?

    • @pascalmpower7944
      @pascalmpower7944 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      TA is more track capable than GTS, the TA have larger tires, 295 front 355 rear (not sure) and loads of suspension tuning.

    I remembery first track day ever because it was special. I dominated the same GT3 with my SRT Viper :D I didn't know I was good but the car is amazing.

    independent synchronized active suspension system is the key to optmize the Viper's incredible torque thus energy. Even though the 4 wheels are "independent" they actually sense the road and sense each other and assist in drive handling. Sort of like synergy (you have components contributing to each other for the stability of each other, like in a music symphony orchaestra). "Independent" in a sense that they compensate each other like a symbiosis. Subsystems within a system. Yep, "independent" yet working together in a symbiosis. Smart dampening-smart cornering compensation effect. Like the high tech smart headlamps of the Mercedez E-Class which is a matrix of LED lights (array of LED lights working in conjunction), sir.

    1:37 interesting spot to change gear :o I guess if you run out of revs you run out but I've gotta think with the downhill and turning it was "perfect shift or ass-out"? Haha
    nice driving regardless. I love how your car's nose changes direction so readily when you let off the gas.

    Looks like I'm going to have to rethink my 2016 A8 Zo6 purchase?? Always have loved my Vipers on Moton Coil overs! I just wish they still made the Viper with the TA 1.0!!!!!!!!!

    I knew it was just a matter of time before you went by the porche.
    BTW, it was awesome to meet you last year at Petite Le Mans on the back stretch. I did a double take and could not believe it was you. It was great talking with you about the race and the Viper won team and drivers championship. To bad they are out for now, I hope they return one day to dominate again!

      There are always ride alongs at these events. Just show up with an appropriate helmet, jeans, and closed-toed shoes. I rode with people for two years before buying a track car and doing events myself. Go to motorsportreg.com and clubregistration.net for a list of events.

    I think its great to see Porsche back in the game with the new GT3, the last few editions were not up to par. Of course, the new ACR is now going to annihilate it.

    • @Averylawfirm
      @Averylawfirm 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      ViperRacing But of course, the new RS will be faster than this GT3...better comparo to the ACR for sure.

    Nice track but not many places to properly stretch a really quick cars legs. Could be quite frustrating in something really fast
