Can't wait for my LED LIGHT KIT I'm going to make my own wiring system so it will work right away like the newer 850. Thanks for all the good info I will make a video of testing the LEDs for power draw I have testing equipment that will show Amp. and Watts I think it will be fun to see what it is.
Will be very interesting. Wiring it up Halo only is not as easy as it sounds. Im very good at wiring also. But decided the ebay kit is worth it because it has all the proper connections & looks factory. And i dont have to mess with anything.
@@JohnFrancoNH I guess that's one different I love messing with things and in my mind it will look better because I going put added wiring in with the OEM harness I know that it's a lot more work but I would like to have have it work just like the OEM setup and I might have another switch for cutting it off Halos like you suggested.
Hey man I have a 2021 Polaris 450. I got the headlights with halos but the halos won’t work. The only thing I have unplugged is the resistor wire. I’m not sure where it’s suppose to plug in.
Hi. Grate video! I have a 2021 sportsman 570 with stock led lights. Also here the led strips won’t light alone, only with hi or low beam. Do I need a new harness to make this work, or is there something else I can do to make it work?
Great video! Just purchased a 2021 850 premium sportsman and it doesn't come with any LED lights out of the factory. Will the Custom Harness and Retro-fit LED kit work with the model i have? Thanks!
Definitely must use the accessory plug. I can’t see paying 400 for the lights then another 200 for the harness just for halos to work correctly. If your good with hands you can figure it out. Would be nice if you showed that harness
It honestly is easier just to buy the kit, very professional wiring, connectors and seals. And piece of mind that its not going to be problematic. Yes i could of hardwired it myself but thats way to much work then i need. I have a ton of other projects.
@@JohnFrancoNH I understand but with me being a electrician it should be very easy. I’ve had mine since June and still haven’t installed. I also hunt and would want some switch to shut off! Love you videos and posts on the fb group
Yes the halos tap into the key on accessory circuit. You should have no problems then wiring the halos. Very easy with anyone with professional know how. I have a factory switch i plan on wiring up to turn off the halos just like you mentioned coming soon!
Good morning friend, I updated the headlights like the ones in your video but I can't understand why the low light also lights up inside the headlight, have you been able to solve that? for example those that bring those factory headlights # 2884859 work differently, I don't know if you can understand me
Yes you can. If you do not buy the custom HALO only harness you need an adapter along with the LED hi beam housing. I will try to post the part #s of everything when i get a chance. Thanks for watching!
Well, my 21 model halos don’t work. I’ve emailed Polaris about it and I’m waiting for them to reply. The dealer said I shouldn’t need anything for them to work correctly.
@@JohnFrancoNH they only work when i turn on the lights. The dealer told me they would work like normal, key on, halos on. Thats not the case. Im going to email polaris again.
@@jodytucker4474 keep us updated on what you find out. I’ve got a 21 as well. Thought about buying the led package, but don’t really want to change the harness.
@@myrtlepalmetto5141 well, they replied, said that the only way the daytime running lights work on any model is by turning on the light switch. I didn't want to get in a pissing match, so it looks like you'll need the $200 wiring harness with your $400 leds if you want them to work as they are intended. im waiting for my service manual to show up so I can look at the wiring harness. I might try and figure out whats what before ordering the wiring harness.
Just ordered that harness. Thanks brotha.
Love the bike. Great job with the mods. What grab bar is that? I'm thinking I need that for my kids.

We’re you able to install the switch to turn the halos on and off? Great video thank you.

Yes either wire a power wire up to the Halo or but the kit on ebay. Link below the video. Thanks for watching!

Yes it will work, I've got the same thing. Works great and the custom harness is an easy install.
Will this work on my 2022 sportsman 850. Factory led kit
Looks great I’m in Canada that be a 800 dollar upgrade for me just for lights but I am tempted to do it lol
Thanks for watching!
is it just me or does the fuel pump in the 1000 sound tired? noticed it sounds alot different than the 850 one.

the halos need a separate custom switch to be turned off. I have a video coming soon showing how wire them to turn off.
Hi I have a 2019 Polaris XP 1000 I have a problem with the sway bar hitting the spring what do you recommend
Maybe try loosing the mount where it pivots and center it better. Thats kind of odd, that would be my first attempt. Thanks for watching!
someone has made a collar that keeps the sway bar from moving left & right. search for it.
What is the harness part number sir?
Did you end up being able to use the Halos by the switch? Is there a video on that as well?
I have the switch. Still planning on installing it sometime soon.
I just wired the halo only harness but would also love to be able to switch them off. Any updates on that, did you get around to it?
Is there any way to wire up the running lights with out a harness? Thanks
yes, run a switched 12v power wire to each halo. Or buy the professional plug and play harness on ebay that i link below the video.
Would the halos automatically turn on without a wiring harness on a 23 sportman 450
No need the additional harness like shown
Thank god🙏🏾
Another great video.
Thanks for watching!
I have a sportsman 570 21 model. But my halo light are not like the red one. What to do?
Buy the custom ebay harness or wire it up yourself to illuminate
Where did you get that roll cage bar their?
Fly racing grab bar. Link is below my atv videos
Will the leds halo work on the 2021 with out the harness?
If you are converting from factory halogen to Polaris LED then you need the small harness for halos only.
Can you order just the high beam handle bar light? Great video bud..keep them coming..
