@@ThatRandomChannelTRC What was wrong with the acting? Everyone in the main cast was great (maybe Rose sometimes over-acted in later season(s) but that's it). Writing also had many strong moments.
I always find it very off putting that all four sister were very quick to forgive the women in they're lives for they're eyebrow raising actions (such as Grams decisions to use magic to keep Victor away from his daughter for all they're lives) but very slow to forgive the men in they're for they're actions. It's almost like Grams contempt for rubbed off on them, which doesn't make sense for Paige

I must have missed or forgotten something since I haven't seen this show in forever, but didn't Sam die in like the earlier seasons? Didn't he die protecting Piper, Prue and Phoebe from that water demon or something? Again, I haven't watched this in a while, so can't remember what happened
The elders made him a white lighter again and he screwed up again. He cut off contact from the elders, making it very difficult to find him. So they made him Paige’s charge in order to track him down.
I am genuinely disappointed in Phoebe for holding back this long, or at all for that matter. I absolutely despise secrets and lies and the Halliwells should know better by now, especially Phoebe. When Sam came back into the picture, I would have been upfront about everything on the spot. That’s what a good sister would do.
They literally talk about it in this episode. The girls says "The last time we saw you, you were going into the afterlife with our mother, what happened?" "They made me a whitelighter again. And I screwed up. Again."
Them keeping it a secret made no sense to me. And the elders giving her a charge was stupid too. They could have handled this storyline completely differently

It was for the plot. We had an episode earlier this season where she called for a crossbow. Add in to her being able to deviate attacks as well.

Piper’s invincibility is cool in appearances. An energy field either blocks atks or they pass through her.
I like that you can kind of tell that was cole just by the look the actor gives to phoebe subtle but a hint of the twist that would immediately follow

They invested more money in tops and cars, instead of acting, special effects, and writing
The special effects for Phoebe’s powers were too expensive, so they had to cut them.
