It’s crazy, how Groundhog Day, The Tower, and Losing What We Love all sound so different and unique. But at the same time, they are all truly awesome beautiful tunes. I fucking love this band so much!🖤
Four year strong, chief state, in her own words, the story so far are my favorites over the last decade and more. Knuckle puck is cool but i don’t think they are as good as those bands mentioned. I wish they added alittle heavier side to their music as well. I mean this is their style and sound and more laid back melodic pop punk but I just feel some more aggression is missing from them. Some bands can be melodic and beautiful sounding but also have some grit to their music. Even in her own words has that even tho they are similar to knuckle puck but this single is dope tho. All their material is dope and don’t really have anything else bad to say about them they are a consistent sick band doing a genre and sound that most bands deserted. Props to all the great non-bubble gum pop punk bands still putting out amazing pop punk. Chief state is heavily slept on and they are my favorite newer pop punk band these days but four year strong will always be my favorite all time hands down no one will top them for me but chief state is close behind. If anyone hasn’t heard of chief state, check out their 2018 ep called “Nothing More Than This” and then their first full length album released in 2020 called “Tough Love” and then finally their newest album released in 2022 called “Waiting For Your Colours”. All 3 of those are a must to check out if you love older style faster energetic yet melodic and beautiful and raw pop punk. They are the best example of what pop punk should be to me out of today’s new bands.
All the singles for this album so far are bringing me back to KP. Haven’t been a huge fan of the last two albums. This sounds like the proper follow-up to Copacetic.

Though I feel KP had a great run with Rise Records, Pure Noise is where I've always felt they've belonged. So stoked for this album.
This feels like a real mature throwback to the old school KP. Really loving this one.
