Yea I’ve made a switch since then, nothing bad to say about the rods but customer service was not good. Catch The Fever has amazing customer service and is my new pick.
For bank fishing I would look at a 10’ rod maybe but the reel would be fine, I just ordered 10 of them yesterday it’s all I’m gonna be using! This setup would work from the bank but I think you would run into times when you needed more casting ability from the rod.
I’m actually working on it today! I’m excited to get it finished but I’m still waiting on parts, spawn is going on here now so I’m not missing much plus it’s HOT!

I have 4 bnm sliver cat elite 2 spinning and 2 casting all of them losing the clear coat and paint on them
I never had that problem but I only used them for a year, I’m currently using CTF. They are good rods but the white ones discolor easily!
