I took a whole quarter in college on Em, it was a literature class, the most amazing class pulling all his lyrics and playing find all the meanings!😂
As an English teacher, I definitely think you can teach Em in class as an example of lyricism. I showed students verses from Lose Yourself and pointed out allusions and double entendres. As well, his flows are amazing.

@Tails No, if you read my post during a literature course, we studied the sentence structure, the double and sometimes triple meanings of his lyrics, and about a dozen other lessons. I took the course for the love of learning, I already had my degrees, and at home, my parents taught me manners🤷♀️

That was Kanye that changed his verse on the song "Forever" that was a collab between Lil' Wayne, Kanye, Drake, and Em. He had fell off hard an was M.I.A for 5yrs lost in the pill bottles, an "Forever" was the 1st Track he agreed to lay a verse on since getting his shit together, people say that "Forever" is the best verse wayne and kanye have ever done, and Eminem just fuckn wrecked all their verses.

@@colterwilliams3152 I’ve been listening to Em from the very beginning and know ALL of his songs but nice try lol Spirituality is NOT the same as religion and he has never had a song about the Bible or Christianity. He has said things about God and has crossed himself, etc and has spoken in interviews but has never had a song where he says things like “Jesus is my savior”. You can believe in God and have a strong relationship there (Spirituality) and not be a very religious person. Of course there’s his verse on “Best Friend” which could be called a double but his fans know he was talking about there. Have a wonderful day! 🙂

You'll see it in this video when he crosses himself and several others, including Cleaning Out My Closet, Beautiful, Not Afraid; in other words, his inspirational music.
