Yes, that's indeed Kasper. When Bada was learning the choreo during her show with Taemin, Kasper was the one who suggested to Bada that they do a special performance. Kasper saw the vision and recognized that Bada would be a great addition. Thank you Kasper!
@@jess_holyfieldI'm not sure if you're interested, but I recommend watching her fancam. Her attention to detail, her popping and isolations, and the way she hits the beats are insaneee
As someone who loves to watch dance but knows nothing i love your commentary. Great video! Kasper is actually as a backup dancer on a lot of Taemin's live performance videos. Rian and Simeez used to be too. I actually love the dancers for this comeback, they're amazing!
@@jess_holyfield you know what's wild. look at the credits for Taemin - Ace (one of his solo debut alongside danger) Monica (Prowdmon), Bucky (Mannequeen), Kasper and Greg Hwang (who went on to direct a lot of taemins solo concerts) basically kasper has been dancing for taemin for a very lond time - though like you only in the past few years did i clock it was him rewatching those stages
I also love the attention to the dancers he has on the music show performances, it felt so exciting to me too, especially having Madonna/Beyonce's dancers for Horizon felt like it could potentially be a huge deal culturally and historically in music shows in S Korea, because of so many of those dancers being so openly queer/lgbt (but I don't have the complete history of music shows to back that up for sure, just felt really exciting given how it's still not fully accepted socially especially publicly in S Korea, like a big statement on Taemin's part - which he's known to do with his art haha)
My favorite is when choreography or some creative choice gets you to say "disgusting" or something along those lines hahah, cause (my interpretation at least) through the awesome professionalism and presenting the dance concepts to us it just has to be THAT good to get you down in the trenches with us of like yes lets analyze this choreo AND also what the fuck that's absolutely nassttyyyyy! (in the best way) lmaoooo love it sm
Haha!!! That pretty much sums it up 😂😂 LOVE getting to say “DISGUSTING “ about a routine ESPECIALLY if it’s of an artist that has been showing UP with the movement quality!
Interesting. After the change of melody, in the MV Taemin seems to lead the dancers on a leash, but on the show almost immediately he just spreads his arms to the sides. OnlyOneOf in "libidO" had a similar moment in dance practice, and it was also changed for the show. As an artistic element it looks beautiful and strong, but for some reason the Koreans don't like it, apparently))
Interesting notes for sure and I would have to agree with you! Hopefully I'll be able to look at more OnlyOneOf soon so I can see this with them as well!
