You have to carry just a little too much speed into the corner and initiate the turn very gently. You want only a small amount of sliding. If you slide too much, you will go slowly. It is tricky at the Dubai track because of the dust, it can change each lap if it is windy.
There can always be differences between the arrive and drive karts. I think the track keeps a special fleet for the SWS races. Also, there can frequently be dust on the track which will limit the amount of grip. Keep practicing and you'll get faster!
Naved - Thank you for the nice comment. The telemetry data is recorded by my GoPro, an older Series 6 Black model and then the Race Render software creates the video overlay using the extracted GPS data. Once you setup the overlay template in RR, it is very easy to use, the only thing I regularly adjust is the position of the start/finish to make sure the track map and video are approximately in the same place.
bro has sooo much grip, the carts i got were ass and the tyres were blown out, I had to break in corners that wouldnt have required any braking
Yes, like any rental track, some karts are in good shape and others not so much. It can also be a very dusty track which hurts the grip.
How are you sliding the kart into corners

Just been today and got a time of 1:20, assuming these are the normal arrive and drive karts wow that’s fast

Glad you liked it!
You don’t brake at sector 3?

Which engine has your kart got ? I know the RX8 comes with 6, 9 or 13 hp options.
its a rental kart
I do not know for sure...only it is RX8 with 390 cc engine. I would guess the 9 HP version, but it is only a guess.
390cc is the 13hp version. One of the best rental karts. There is a sport version 25kg lighter.
good.
Thanks!
