Skeleton spell is really under rated at lower THs . I don't use it much as skelly donut but usually with mass inferno drags.

I only upgrade it to lv 5, in case someone need it, so I can give max lv. On the other hand, I prioritize bat spell on all of my account to use pekkabobat strategy, it's very strong war army

Like this a lot, a bat spell works also great for defenses
My D.E. was going to be saved to max out the spell but ever time it came up I happen to use it on a hero instead

I never buy i hammer of spells, I never upgrade a spell unless I have a book because there's usually one in each gold pass
The saying "base dependent" means its a last priority for upgrades.

I ONLY upgrade it to keep my accounts maxed out. In 6 plus years of playing this game I've maybe used it a handful of times.
