- Kelly Preston sadly passed away on July 12, 2020, after valiantly battling breast cancer. Her husband John Travolta and their children Ella Bleu and Benjamin are devastated at the loss of their wife and mother.
Preston and Travolta meet on the set of 1987’s The Experts, and were married in 1991. Their wedding ceremony was held at the Hotel de Crillon in Paris, but they also had a second one in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Travolta and Preston had a tight-knit family, and even though their marriage had its ups and downs they remained resilient until Preston’s tragic passing. Here’s the truth about Kelly Preston and John Travolta’s marriage.

Looking at some of the inappropriate comments, at the end of the day they were a couple whos marriage lasted 30 years who supported loved and respected each other who raised a family together all of which is a fantastic achievement any where but in the film industry is nothing short of a miracle. @@Truther567 There are but not through Big Pharma. Alternative therapies like LDN therapy and MMS Therapy and several others are definitely worth trying. But these are non-traditional and not Oncologist endorsed. So most are just unwilling to try them. Might if they would do their own research. But most won't.
John P OConnell , big pharma does have cures for many diseases but they won’t release them because they make too much money on conventional medicine which doesn’t cure diseases, they only treat them. I know this all too well. My hubby was diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic melanoma in March 2016. Six months of chemo was killing him so I researched and found an integrative oncologist, all natural treatments. Hubby is doing great on these. Something else I learned not too long ago. A man who had Stage IV NSCL cancer was sent home to die. Long story short, he cured himself with Fenbendazole, a dog flea and tick medicine. Last September, 2019 at my hubby’s 6-month treatment, I asked his oncologist about this medicine. He had heard the story and said there was a human form of this medicine so my hubby started taking it. At next 6-month treatment, which was March 2020, his circulating tumor cells had dropped 4 points which is great. This man who cured himself is doing everything he can to help others and is saving many people because of Fenbendazole, even Stage IV glioblastoma.

@Bo Bo Knows Yes, you are right. Being pregnant at 48 would have sped up the process; pregnancy changes the body a lot and at that age, with an underlying condition, she would have been significantly impacted.

I think cancer is the most disgusting disease. It leaves the person with no dignity. My father had leukemia, my oldest brother lung cancer and my baby brother with cancer as well. As my middle brother was killed in a work accident, and my mother passed when I was five, ( that was 80 years ago) as my husband said at my youngest brother's funeral, " She's the last one standing".
So yes cancer is the most degrading disease. I quite often feel alone, and tear up, there's no one who understands what it was like growing up the way we did.

This is so sad 🥺. Totally unnecessary. What happened to 2 year scans and ultra sounds tests??? I'm sent a reminder every two years as I'm in the high risk catorgory, having had breast cancer at a relatively young age? I don't understand how someone with alot of money can miss a breast growth? I live where healthcare is free but "I must ensure I respond to the reminders I'm sent in the mail and by email to have test."
I understand that.... Im a 5.5 yr Stage 3 Breast cancer survivor.
I had 5 months of chemo, then left breast mastectomy..no recon...then 33 rounds of brutal radiation.
I had 6 months visits for ultrasound and mammograms...for 5 years. Every 6 months.
Im trying to figure out what meds did she have at MD Anderson?
Where I had my treatments for radiation...there were people from all over the world there...from Japan, Switzerland, England, Ireland and a woman whom was from the Amish community.....
They sought out treatments here....
I can only pray the children, the men and women recovered well.
I used to cry watching the kids and people when they rang the bell on their last treatment day.....so happy for them.
Glad you have the free healthcare available.... America needs to have that as well.....

The most tragic part of their relationship was they didn't know Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. Where will they spend eternity heaven or hell? Scientology is a cult you buy levels but to where? Two years is a short Cancer battle. She must have had a very bad form of the disease or it was discovered in late-stage. My own opinion is maybe she was better off that way. I say that because you never win with Cancer. With some Cancer treatments you can battle and live with the disease for 10 - 15 years. But the treatment side effects are as bad as the disease, and often significantly degrade your physical body and quality of life as well. Yeah...you never win with Cancer. It's like going to a Casino and saying you are going to beat the house. Nobody ever beats the house.
Having said the above. Kelly Preston had a good, productive although short life. And I would never have predicted her marriage to John Travolta to have lasted...but it surely did. I have been a big John Travolta fan for many years. He is a Grade A actor and a great person too. Very, very sorry for his loss.
