For any future people doing this I just completed it, here's what I did Start with any color starting with just 1 of the color, then feed Dave, add 1 of that color 1 at a time until he says it's correct, then swap to the next color and do the same until he says correct, do this with all colors 1 at a time and write down the recipe
5 hours later and he's still refusing to like the brown spice stew, everything else was first try but I've gave this one to him like 30 times. The frustration of this quest my god.. nevermind I was doing it wrong lol wow
When I go to Lumbridge to inspect Evil Dave. I get a completely different cutscene? Loads of characters are in there around a feast? I’ve done all the requirements for this quest? Please help.
I released my cat in my house in Taverley and don't know how to pick it, do you know how to get it? Using catspeak amulet don't give option, and changes I tried in settings didn't work as well. I need it for this quest.

Turns out you have to watch the entire cutscene and can’t skip lol

If you no longer have the cat in your inventory or bank, then your cat has probably run away ;-)
