It came out cute😊. I'll try this color in a few days, was really in need of some inspo😂. The method you used is the same method I use to make my locs. I don't use glue tho I just make a little knot where I want the loop the end.

Do you think it would work if we used all Cuban twists also to wrap and have curly ends? I'm not a fan of the other hair you used to wrap because it doesn't look natural enough for what I like and I'm trying to visualize it with a natural texture hair.
They feel stiff and heavey because you made it too tight, especially the roots. It's always good to spread the kinky hair whiles wrapping it around. That way you get to wrap less hair but get a good coverage around. Don't know if am making sense but girl they look gorgeous regardless.
