I have Librecad because I am a hobbyist and my work requires mild 2D drawings which are not complex, thank goodness. I love to draw in Librecad from looking at drawings from the internet which gives my brain a real workout.
Whenever an Autocad tutorial is shown, the user does not rely on geometry (from what I see). A good example would be to find tangent points for lines to arcs or even for two arcs. I have to work it out and finally can draw with true tangents. I think it helps to know geometry and use any CAD program as an assist and not to use it not knowing why and how to construct drawings.

Cmon, how can you compare ACAD with LibreCad ?
The first is a complete professional suite (expensive off course), productivity oriented ; LibreCad is just a toy (we all love free software , but...) . Is possibile to realize the same 2d drawing with ACAD or LibreCad , but with the second you will need double time !
You should compare LIbreCad with Draftsight, BrycsCad , NanoCad etc etc ....

You bring up some valid points about the differences between AutoCAD and LibreCAD. AutoCAD is indeed a comprehensive professional suite with extensive features designed for high productivity, while LibreCAD is a more lightweight, free alternative.
However, for many users, especially those working on simpler 2D drawings or those just starting out, LibreCAD can be a practical and cost-effective option. It's also great for educational purposes and for those who prefer open-source software.
You're right that comparisons might be more fair with other lightweight CAD tools like DraftSight, BricsCAD, or NanoCAD. Each tool has its own strengths and is suited to different needs and budgets.
Ultimately, the best tool depends on the specific requirements of the project and the user's familiarity with the software. Thanks for the suggestion, and I'll consider it for future comparisons!

@@librecadfree I am learning to use LibreCad , and I used ACAD and Drafsight for years.
Of course I noticed the differences, but I appreciate LibreCad because it is free.
But I was expected LibreCad little bit more efficient, same as other free software (Scribus for DTP, GIMP or OBS Studio ...)
